AREA FRUIT CROP MANAGER BASED IN MEXICO (Querétaro, fulltime) JOB DESCRIPTION As Area Fruit Crop Manager you are responsible for the development of the Fruit Crops and the introduction of new varieties. An important aspect of your job is determining priorities per market segment by listening to and understanding of the specialists in the markets. For the introduction of new varieties, you create a structured cooperation between breeding, sales and production. You support the countries within the area with technical cultivation knowledge and you support the exchange of knowledge between the colleagues. Within the Area Crop Management team you take the responsibility for leading the Fruit Crops into further growth and contribute to the teamwork in the global crop teams within Bejo. You are jointly responsible for the results in the area. You always explore possibilities for innovation in close cooperation with the other Area Crop Managers and the Bejo companies in your area. Furthermore, you maintain contacts with the colleagues of the R&D departments and the logistic departments. You report to the Area Business Manager Americas. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Comprehensive cultivation knowledge of and experience with Fruit Crops International commercial experience and relevant business knowledge Initiative and entrepreneurial drive You like to ‘build bridges’ and are a real team player You love travelling (about 35% of your time) and are able to look several seasons ahead Good command of written and spoken Spanish and English OFFER We can offer you a versatile and responsible position in our well regarded and respected multi-national organization.
