Young 12 athletes face immense pressures both on and off the field. Balancing sports, school, 13 friends and family can take a toll on anyone's mental health. Unfortunately, competitive environments often prioritize winning over personal well-being. Up 14 to 70% of kids quit sports by age 13, driven away by negative pressures, poor coaching and rising expenses that exclude lower-income youth.
15
Student-athletes are already less likely than their peers to seek support for mental health struggles. We believe that a resilient and caring youth sports program can model healthy attitudes and behaviors to change that. While excellence is celebrated, our ultimate measure of success is seeing happy, well-rounded youth who pursue sports for joy rather than solely achievement. This philosophy extends beyond the court to promote resilience - by teach self-care, coping techniques, and open communication as core life skills.

Challenge
Amanjula is a project proposal for one of Aman's resorts, with the goal of opening in 2025 for Moab locals and turists. Tucked away where the lake, the wild desert and canyons meet, Aman's new destination in Utah will offer a peaceful escape in a private oasis. How can Amanjula seamlessly integrate the natural wonder of Moab's canyons into the retreat's design?
Brief
The name of Aman hotels comes from Sanskrit-derived word for ‘peace’, with the addition of "manjula", which stands for beautiful. The Aman brand is known for being being a pioneer in resorts and creating unique designs that frame natural and urban settings. Amanjula values seeking peace, seclusion and appreciation of beauty incorporated in the retreat.
Concept. Ethereal Echo Inspired by the serene beauty of its natural surroundings, Amanjula is designed to be a peaceful sanctuary that allows guests to tap into a sense of tranquility. The repetitive shapes and soothing colors of the canyons are reflected inside the retreat through locally-sourced materials and decorative motifs designed by area artists and artisans. By echoing the ethereal wonder of the Moab landscape, Amanjula provides an oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation.

04 Ideal Experience Framework Gen Z's attitudes and behaviors towards sustainability
Challenge
This research aims to establish the relationship between Gen Z's attitudes, behaviors, and lifestyle choices towards sustainability. How can help companies drive product design strategies that target Generation Z?
Brief
The ideal experience is a tool that helps gather research insights and inform design decisions. The human-centered design methodology is developed by Lextant to help companies design products and services that provide an ideal customer experience.
Methodology
The research employs a mixed methods approach, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques such as interviews and sensory cues to develop a comprehensive understanding of the research topic. For this focused study, we interviewed and surveyes a total of 25 people over a 10-week period, and reviewed 9 articles. This report is inconclusive due to the samll sample size surveyed, and further research is recommended to help drive decisions.
