Age UK Bedfordshire Information and Advice Advisor – Home Visits (Borough)

Many people experience difficulty successfully completing forms or gaining access to information or advice. Age UK therefore provide a service to people who cannot attend their offices, where you will visit an older person in their own home.

Rothsay Education Centre Trustee

The Rothsay Education Centre (REC) would be delighted to hear from individuals who may have an interest in joining our Board of Trustees. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with current or recent work experience in the world of IT, HR, Finance or Legal.

Oakley Village Hall Member of the Management Committee (Trustee)

The Hall is run by a management committee, making decisions about improving Hall facilities, working with hirers etc, as well as managing the Hall on a day-to-day basis. The committee meets monthly.

Community Led Initiatives CIC Mentor

A volunteer mentor can make a lasting difference in the lives of people who are vulnerable and often disadvantaged. Each person’s progress is different and a mentor can become a positive role model having an impact on individuals, their families and their communities.

Food ETC CIC Cookery Workshop Facilitator

If you like cooking and would like to help other people make healthy, nutritious, and cheap meals we’d love to hear from you. Food etc is looking for volunteers to work with a variety of groups in and around Bedford.

Bedford Radio Presenters & Producers

Bedford Radio are currently recruiting for people who want to become presenters & producers on the station. Training will be given on how to be a presenter, as well as how to use our systems. Currently people are presenting remotely (mainly pre-recorded).
