Moggerhanger Park – Garden volunteers

Garden volunteers required to restore the estate gardens back to their full glory, built in the eighteenth century the gardens and grounds which were designed by noted landscape designer Humphry Repton, are a nationally important historic landscape.

Wimpole Estate – National Trust – Ecology Volunteer

The Ranger team at Wimpole are looking for ecology volunteers to help with breeding bird, wintering bird and butterfly surveys. Some previous knowledge or experience is desirable.

Bedford Players Trust – The Place Theatre – General Front of House Volunteers

By volunteering your Front of House skills – whether at the Box Office, behind the bar, ticketing or ushering – you will become part of a team of theatre-loving people of all ages keen to make the audience experience at The Place as welcoming off-stage as it is exciting on-stage.

Ampthill Festival CIC – Photo and Video Creative Volunteers

Social media marketing activities are brought alive with photos and videos from past events. If you’ve got the editing kit on your Mac or PC and have some time and creativity available, then Ampthill Festival would love to hear from you.

Food ETC CIC Cookery Workshop Facilitator

If you like cooking and would like to help other people make healthy, nutritious, and cheap meals we’d love to hear from you. Food etc is looking for volunteers to work with a variety of groups in and around Bedford.

Age UK Bedfordshire – Telephone Befriender

Volunteers will develop through planned, regular telephone conversations a small number of positive and valued relationships with isolated older people who have been identified by Age UK Bedfordshire, with the final aim of reducing social isolation of those older people.
