Program Overview:
This is a fun and instructional dance program offered by the Bedford Recreation Department. The program will teach the fundamentals of dance and culminate with a recital in early-May. All classes will take place in the Russo Room (2 Floor) at 12 Mudge Way in Bedford. Specific footwear and apparel requirements will be communicated closer to the start of the program. nd
RECITAL RECITAL IINFORMATION NFORMATION
This program will culminate with a recital in early-May. The recital details will be announced in the winter. An additional costume fee (approximately $100-$150) will be due in January/February. Classes will end the week before the recital.
There will be a mandatory dress rehearsal before the recital.

Karrie Mason
Wednesday & Thursday Classes
Karrie has over thirty-five years of study in dance, including jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern, lyrical, line dance, musical theatre and Zumba. She has been teaching dance for over twentyfive years and has held entertainment positions at "Walt Disney World Resorts" and "Premiere Cruise Lines".
Karrie lives her life's passion as the founder/owner of "Gotta Dance" Dance Studios and teaches hundreds of students per week in the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire area. She has an Associate’s Degree in Dance from Northern Essex Community College where she also instructed dance classes, and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in the field of Psychology and Physical Education.
Elaina Cobb
Monday Classes
Elaina began her dance training as a toddler and has continued for over 20 years. She has studied a wide range of styles including ballet, pointé, jazz, Broadway jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop. She spent 10 years performing with Dance Prism Ballet, including 6 years as part of their pointé core. After high school, Elaina attended the University of Maine, where she was deeply involved in the dance department. She choreographed pieces for the UMaine Hip Hop Club and semester showcases, and completed coursework in dance composition and choreography. During college, she also taught at local studios and choreographed 10 pieces. Elaina has returned to Massachusetts and currently teaches at studios across Middlesex County.
