At The Bedford Sixth Form, life doesn’t stop at the end of lessons – you can challenge yourself and achieve success in a range of extra-curricular opportunities that aim to enhance your learning experience and strengthen your UCAS application.

You might join a club because it’s already of interest and you want to learn more, or simply to add variety to your studies and try something completely new.

LGBT+ social group

The LGBT+ social group at the Sixth Form was formed last year. Students look into LGBT+ history and current affairs. They are also regularly joined by guest speakers. These have included Bedfordshire Police discussing hate crime, iCash Bedfordshire discussing LGBT+ sexual health and Dr Catherine Lee from the Courageous Leaders programme.
