Laurence Shone from the Northamptonshire Estates Team delivering the PPE collected across Corby and Kettering.
Staff from across the Group have all been working together to collect as much PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that is not being used within our departments to donate to local hospitals and care providers. In the last few weeks the Group has donated over 13,500 pairs of gloves, 1,200 disposable aprons, 150 face masks and 100 pairs of goggles to Kettering General Hospital, Autism Bedfordshire, FirstCare, Heather Holmes Care Home, Desborough and Wicksteed Court Care Home, Kettering.
The Estates and Facilities teams have coordinated collections from various departments including Access to HE, Computing, Construction, Hair & Beauty, Engineering, Motor Vehicle and Science following a great response from Heads of Departments and staff. All care providers were extremely grateful to have received our donations which will really make a difference in our communities. Read more on page 9.
