Musical Theatre Showcase

A range of vocal duos, solos and ensemble repertoire will be performed in the Musical Theatre Showcase in the Recital Room. Students of all ages and abilities will be showing their talents. This concert is being curated by our singing teachers, Mr Simonetti and Ms Ramm. All welcome. Chapel Concert Chapel

An opportunity for music scholars, and any musician or band to perform at Holy Trinity, Upper Dicker. This event is open to all members of the Bede’s community and any local resident who would like to come and hear a range of pupils perform in a beautiful setting, away from the rush of everyday life. All welcome.
Bede’s Young Musician Final
Recital Room
Monday 12 May 7.15pm
The finals of the Bede’s Young Musician of the Year, held in the Recital Room and adjudicated by a panel of professional musicians. This is one of the highly prized musical competitions of the academic year. One lucky winner will be given a £100 gift voucher for two tickets to a concert, festival, or gig, of their choice. All welcome.
Prep Schools’ Choral Morning (Year 3-4)

A workshop and rehearsal for Year 4 and 5 from students at Bede’s Prep School - a joint venture between the Prep and Senior School departments, with a short run-through and performance at the end of the session. This event is not open to the public.
Leavers’ & Summer Recital Recital Room
Wednesday 21 May 7.15pm
The leavers’ and summer music recital is a wonderful opportunity to hear a number of our leaving musicians and pupils from across the age range perform a captivating programme of repertoire in the beautiful ambience of the Recital Room, adjacent to the park. All welcome.
Auditions for Bede’s Fest Music Rooms
Thursday 22 May 10.45am, 1.45pm & 5pm
If you are a soloist, would like to perform in a duo or trio, or an ensemble of some kind - this is your opportunity to audition for Bede’s Fest in September.
Tuesday 10 June 4.30pm
This event is aimed at prep school musicians to come and gain a flavour of music at the senior school: they will take part in a class and workshop with some of our visiting music teacher team, and learn a piece or two, and learn an improvisation, as a taster for music at Bede’s. This event is not open to the public.

Come and hear the Bruges Music tour students perform excerpts of the programme head of the tour in early July, here at Bede’s - a moment of lunchtime reflection. All welcome.
Student Gig
Miles Studio Wednesday 25 June
One of our last events for the summer term with a student gig, organised and run entirely by students. Come and hear some established talent, as well as new and emerging musicians, in a combination of bands, vocalists and instrumentalists. The backdrop of the Miles Theatre provides the setting! All welcome.
Speech Day MPH, Chapel & Lawn Friday 27 June
We warmly welcome you to Speech Day, where as part of the celebrations of the academic year, we will hear performances from musicians as soloists, an ensemble performance from the recent production of Guys & Dolls and a whole host of trios and quartets from our musicians on the lawn. All welcome.
Music Tour to Bruges Belgium 28 June - 1 July
A group of some of our brilliantly talented musicians will tour to Bruges, Belgium and perform in two concerts, one at The Church of Our Lady, OLV Kerk and the other at Sint-Michielskerk both in Bruges. Our musicians will also have the opportunity to visit a famous chocolaterie and go on a canal boat cruise.
