I am from San Diego, California (USA). I have lived in different areas of San Diego County most of my life. I am currently in Escondido.

Can you describe your role in a few words?

As Regional Director, I oversee the daily operations of four different warehouses. I support the team to make sure they have what they need to support the operations, employees and customers.

What makes you come to work every day?

I love my coworkers and customers. I have always enjoyed learning something new every day. Even after 34 years in the industry, I continue to learn.

What are your interests, passions or hobbies outside of work? I love reading, doing puzzles and spending time with my family.

I am originally from Des Moines, Iowa (USA). However, I have lived in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) for the past 25 years.

Can you describe your role in a few words?

I have a unique, dual role overseeing the long-term care division of TouchPoint as well as oversight of the sector operations support departments such as culinary, clinical, retail, quality and standards.

What makes you come to work every day?

Every day at Compass Group offers new opportunities, which motivates me. The past 20 years have provided constant variety and challenges that make each day fulfilling.

What are your interests, passions or hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy tennis, reading, crossword puzzles, exploring new destinations through travel, and quality time with my family and friends. Additionally, my two Yorkies always keep life lively and entertaining. 4

I am from Denmark. I grew up north of Copenhagen, but now I live in Copenhagen in a new residential area where Carlsberg was invented and brewed beers for many years.

Responsible for operational support, which includes the EHS function, mobilisation and implementation of new contracts and projects in general.

What makes you come to work every day?

My team and my colleagues – and the way we work together in Compass Group to find great solutions for us and for our clients.

What are your interests, passions or hobbies outside of work?

Family and friends. Going to concerts, cinema and restaurants. My home, which I am very fond of; I love to decorate it. Also, a new hobby of mine is knitting.

I’m originally from Northern Ireland but moved to England in 2007 to attend university. I now live in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, where I’ve been based for the past nine years.

Can you describe your role in a few words?

My main remit is to ensure companywide compliance with all applicable environmental legislation. I also lead the development of targets, strategies and initiatives for certain aspects while supporting the overall delivery of our ambitions.

What makes you come to work every day?

My main drivers are to ensure we maintain compliance, operate responsibly and uphold our environmental commitments to deliver credible environmental performance.

What are your interests, passions or hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work, my main passions are training my dog, walking, and seeing friends. I’ve recently started running again; I’m still waiting on the running bug biting, though!

It’s different every day! My role enables me to grow and challenge myself as I engage with different teams across different countries to drive meaningful and sustainable change. This excites me and keeps me going!

What are your interests, passions or hobbies outside of work? I enjoy travelling to different countries, experiencing different cultures and food. I volunteer by cooking and serving food in a local community in my free time. I am currently learning how to knit and crochet in my evenings. 11

What drives me every day is my passion for developing people and creating opportunities for growth. I’m committed to adding value to the organisation and also for our clients.

My 7-year-old daughter keeps me very busy outside of work, and I try to spend as much time as possible with her. I also love walking, Pilates and catching up with girl friends over a glass of wine when I get time on my own. 12

I love food – and coffee – which is likely why I started in this industry. But, more than anything, I love my family; mother to Izaya, 18-year-old party boy; dog mom to Grimsby, a 5-year-old Cane Corso (I love animals, and my family has expressed he is my favorite); and wife to Marco, my live-for-the-moment husband who won me over 26 years ago with our shared love of pasta (he’s Italian and loves to cook).

Originally from Perth, Western Australia. After 15 years living between London, Melbourne and Port Hedland, I’m now back in Perth raising my family.

Understanding business needs today and for growth, and shaping the people strategy, priorities and deliverables to get us there.

What makes you come to work every day?

This is a people and food business, and being a people leader where that sits at the heart of success is deeply engaging. I’m energised by solving complex challenges across the short, medium and long term.

What are your interests, passions or hobbies outside of work?

Spending time with my family, staying active, and riding to raise funds for cancer research. We love caravanning through WA’s national parks, boating, snorkelling, or enjoying a Chardonnay with a good book in the sun.

What’s your favourite meal, cuisine, or food you love?

Almost impossible to choose between South and East Asian flavours, from a great spicy Malaysian Laksa to pork belly stir‑fried with holy basil or chilli‑oil prawn wontons. Everything is better with garlic and ginger. 26
