BECKY SWIFT A Design student originally from Norwich, studying Product Design at Nottingham Trent University, where I get to design a wide range of products; From Apps to Office equipment to Brands and Packaging. I have a passion for Travelling and like to be inspired by international styles. Interested in branding and graphic designs as well as more traditional product design, mostly using Adobe suite apps and ProCreate for iPad to visualise my designs. I most enjoy Innovation and ideation excersises and projects Inovolving rapid prototyping and sketches.
Company Brief To use focused primary and secondary research to design and develop a contemporary Product/Products for the brand Herman Miller. Consideration of new consumer behaviours, potential markets and brand impact is essential. The product should fit with the Herman Miller brand whilst exploring a new market sector for the company.
Product Solution To bring Healthy water to the workplace in order to Increase productivity and oxygen levels in employees, to improve bodily functions. To help keep focus and alertness and to reduce tiredness. Removing heavy metals, Sodium microbes and organic compounds from water. Adding Magnesium, Chloride and Bicarbonates, Iron and Calcium, Silica and Sulphates. As well as removing toxins in order to improve brain function and health.

Brief To design a new whiskey brand in order to appeal to a millennial market. The product should promote responsible drinking and also educate and excite the customer by whiskey. The environmental impact of the product should be considered, therefore avoiding use of single-use plastics
Product Solution Following Primary research, the design direction should be in a minimalist styling with bright colourings and bold lettering. The drink and possible ways in which to serve it should be considered in order to introduce new ways for new customers to explore the drink
Company Brief Identify Key insights and Opportunities within the Chinese Athleisure market To review existing facilities, brands and products in the market and to design a concept for a design to encourage swimming in China
Product Solution As it was discovered, cleanliness in changing rooms and carrying wet clothes were issues for many non-regular swimmers. The product should make the experience of using changing rooms more comfortable, as well as making it easier to transport equipment to and from the pool.
