Graphic Design & Illustration
Hello, I’m Beck!
I am a Latina freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Kansas City, Missouri.
With over three years of professional experience, I specialize in both illustration & branding design.
Nurtured by a childhood passion for art and storytelling, I embarked on a journey to become an illustrator from a young age. My experience as an actress has instilled in me the power of visual storytelling, where every image conveys a narrative and leaves a lasting impression. This ethos is the foundation of my creative process.

JBS Foods- Logo Design

Client: JBS Foods- Future Leader ID & Training Program
Services: logo design
JBS Foods- Future Leader ID & Training Program was a commissioned logo project I took on in 2024 for a leading American global food company. The scope was a logo design to be used on official stationary and promotional material for a new program in development for the company. I had to create a logo that was cohesive with the program and the company as a whole.

The three logo designs were designed to represent a harmonious blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and adherence to the JBS Foods’ brand identity. Each design encapsulates the core values and objectivesof the Future Leader ID & Training Program, serving as a visual embodiment of its commitment to fostering leadership, growth, and togetherness.

Tipsy Bard KC was a commissioned logo project I took on in 2023 for a local business about to break ground and then revised once more this year as they rebranded themselves to ground themselves in the local community by adding ‘KC’ to their name and a dragon to make the logo more ‘adventurous’.

“Classic and fantastical, that is fun and heroic without being tacky”

During our initial meeting, the client expressed a desire for a design that felt both “classic and fantastical,” embodying fun and heroism without being tacky or demonic. For Tipsy Bard, I combined elements of TTRPGs with an art deco style to convey professionalism. Incorporating a lute and tankards, symbolizing bardic tradition and alcoholic offerings, respectively, I created a design that reflects their brand name. After exploring various fonts, we settled on “Dragonlord” by Mans Greback, purchased under a commercial license that allowed editing to the font. I thickened certain strokes and adjusted the kerning for impactfulness and strength in the name silhouette.
