The Geysers
Originally built in the 1940s, the Cottages are a token of the land’s history. The abodes are offered as a duplex studio or two-bedroom units, each with indoor and outdoor living spaces surrounded by palm and olive trees, roses, and lavender.
The Indian Springs thermal water supply was created millions of years ago. The Resort as well as Calistoga sits above a fractured plate where magma comes in contact with subterranean waters at a depth of 4,000 feet. The waters become superheated, forcing them through ancient seabeds until they reach the earth’s surface, escaping at 230 degrees fahrenheit in the form of four geysers. Very few sites in the country have access to such a bountiful source of thermal water.
The Bun g alow s The Bungalows offer an exclusive experience with generous indoor / outdoor living space. Each bungalow features King and Double Queen bedrooms ensuite, a living room with fireplace, a dining area, and front porch. There are also French doors to a private patio which offer direct views of the Napa Valley Hills.
2020
Pat and John Merchant purchased the Resort and adjacent grounds. They renamed the Resort, Indian Springs paying homage to the Native Americans, the land’s first settlers. After moving to Napa Valley, the Merchants went looking for a pool and found a project.
Approvals were secured for the Parcel A expansion component, now known as The Veranda at Indian Springs. The approvals included the demolition of 10 of the 12 existing buildings and development of a 96-room hotel, restaurant and bar, retail and meeting facilities and outdoor pool as well as associated infrastructure, including an Emergency Vehicle Access (EVA) road, parking and landscaping within the Development Area.
The Merchant family acquired the adjoining spa and hotel known as Nance’s, and incorporated it into Indian Springs. Those 24 rooms have since been beautifully renovated and
The Resort boasts two special houses. Ideal for family or friends, the Houses are privately situated and feature every component of a home. Multiple bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, living and dining rooms, a gas fireplace, and outdoor living spaces with a firepit create a home away from home.

RESORT HISTORY
The Merchants expanded the Resort into areas previously untouched on the 17-acre property. 75 guestrooms, indoor and outdoor event spaces, the first restaurant (Sam’s Social Club), and walking paths and gardens for more access to the Resort’s beautiful grounds were installed.
