CEIT-IK4 provides services to the aircraft industry from 4 different technological areas: material and processes, mechanical design, electronics and augmented reality for maintenance. During the last 14 years it has created 12 spin-offs which are employing around 400 highly skilled people.

During the last 17 years CEIT-IK4 has collaborated with the following companies: AIRBUS, ITP, ROLLSROYCE, MTU, SNECMA, INTEGRASYS, ERASTEEL, KORTA, ESA and SENER. CEIT-IK4 has been involved in 15 FP6 projects. At the moment, is involved in 25 FP7 projects, having the role of coordinator in 9 of them.
