VARSITY HEAD COACH
DUSTIN WORKMAN Coach Workman is a 2000 graduate of Mossyrock High School and a 2006 graduate of Central Washington University. He began his career as the C-team boys coach at MSH before joining the Ellensburg High School boys basketball staff while attending CWU. After graduating from college, he returned to Mossyrock and coached the JV boys before becoming the head coach in 2010. During his four years as the head coach, Mossyrock made the regional game three times, and the state tournament his last season, placing sixth in state. Due to a career change, he has been coaching an AAU boys program out of Chehalis for the past four years, and last season he was an assistant coach for the Olympia Bears girls program. “I am very thankful for this opportunity with the Olympia girls basketball program, and I look forward to building not just winning teams, but a winning program that has high expectations on the court, in the classroom, and in the community.” When he’s not coaching, Coach Workman enjoys fishing and golfing.

Coach Bradley graduated from Mossyrock High School in 2011. He began his coaching career at Mossyrock High School in 2012. He was an assistant coach for the boys varsity for four years. He has also been an assistant coach the last four years for an AAU team based out of Chehalis. Coach Bradley has been Coach Workman’s assistant all eight years of his coaching. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Meghan, and his son, Jerrick. He also likes sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Autumn graduated from Onalaska High School in 2013 where she played basketball, volleyball, and fast pitch. She received a basketball scholarship to Southern Oregon University where she played and earned her degree in Pre-Physical Therapy. She was an All-American and played for the national championship in 2016. For the past two seasons, she was the C-team coach at Centralia High School, and she is currently an assistant volleyball coach at Pierce College.
Coach Gerrits is a proud graduate and employee of OHS. He has coached basketball at a variety of levels for 20 plus years and is grateful for the opportunity to work with the girls program this year for the first time. He has two boys, Parker (15), Logan (12) and a supportive wife, Shelley.

Coach Sam is in her second year of coaching at Olympia High School. Sam enjoys being a part of the Oly Bear Basketball program and helping student athletes reach their full potential on and off the court. She has worked with kids K-12 on skill development and knowledge of the game. Sam is a 2014 Rochester High School graduate, where she played basketball for four years. It’s also where her love and passion for the game was found. After high school Sam attended SPSCC and now works at The Department of Corrections. Basketball is a huge part of Sam’s life; when she’s not on the court you can find her spending time with her husband of four years and their three dogs.

SUSAN BALIKOV
Coach Balikov has been coaching basketball for 17 years. She has coached players from elementary through high school, refereed in Seattle and still enjoys playing pickup ball every week. Since moving to the Olympia area in 2003, she has coached at Tumwater High School, Olympia High School and Washington Middle School. Coach Balikov is very excited to be back at Olympia High School. She and her husband have 2 children who play basketball and soccer, one who has graduated and the other soon to graduate from OHS. She enjoys working with student athletes and teaching basketball and teamwork. Outside of coaching, she works as a paraeducator at schools in the area, enjoys movies, hiking, getting together with friends and family, and filling out March Madness brackets.
