Approval‌‌of‌‌Previous‌‌Board‌‌Minutes‌‌ ‌ Director‌‌Burch‌‌moved‌‌and‌‌Director‌‌Winning‌‌seconded‌‌that‌‌the‌‌Frontier‌‌Charter‌‌Academy‌‌Board‌‌of‌‌ Directors‌‌approve‌‌the‌‌Board‌‌Meeting‌‌Minutes‌‌of‌‌the‌‌regular‌‌session‌‌on‌‌May‌‌17,‌‌2021‌‌as‌‌presented.‌ ‌The‌‌ motion‌‌passed‌‌4-0.‌ ‌(Director‌‌Gallagher‌‌absent)‌

COMMUNICATIONS‌ ‌ A.‌ PUBLIC‌‌COMMENTS:‌‌‌No‌‌individual‌‌comment‌‌shall‌‌be‌‌for‌‌more‌‌than‌‌three‌‌(3)‌‌minutes‌‌and‌‌the‌‌total‌‌time‌ for‌‌this‌‌purpose‌‌shall‌‌not‌‌exceed‌‌fifteen‌‌(15)‌‌minutes.‌ ‌Board‌‌members‌‌may‌‌respond‌‌to‌‌comments‌‌ however‌‌no‌‌action‌‌can‌‌be‌‌taken.‌‌The‌‌Board‌‌may‌‌give‌‌direction‌‌to‌‌staff‌‌following‌‌comments.‌ ‌ ‌ B.‌ PRESENTATIONS‌: ‌‌ ‌ None‌ ‌ ‌ C.‌ BOARD‌‌CHAIR‌‌DISCUSSION‌‌AND‌‌RECOGNITION‌ ‌ None‌ ‌ ‌ D.‌ BOARD/STAFF‌‌DISCUSSION‌ ‌ Reports:‌ ‌ 1. School‌‌Update‌‌ ‌ Todd‌‌Schweitzer‌‌began‌‌the‌‌report‌‌section‌‌stating‌‌that‌‌this‌‌school‌‌year‌‌will‌‌be‌‌the‌‌fifth‌‌year‌‌for‌‌ FCA.‌‌He‌‌also‌‌provided‌‌a‌‌background‌‌of‌‌the‌‌parent‌‌internet‌‌stipends‌‌process‌‌stating‌‌that‌‌in‌‌the‌‌ 21/22‌‌school‌‌year,‌‌FCA‌‌will‌‌implement‌‌a‌‌written‌‌procedure‌‌that‌‌parents‌‌must‌‌return‌‌equipment‌‌ as‌‌applicable,‌‌and‌‌complete‌‌a‌‌Google‌‌form‌‌to‌‌receive‌‌the‌‌internet‌‌stipend.‌‌Stipends‌‌were‌‌ withheld‌‌from‌‌parents‌‌who‌‌had‌‌not‌‌returned‌‌Chromebooks‌‌in‌‌20/21‌‌and‌‌it‌‌improved‌‌parent‌‌ responsiveness.‌‌Todd‌‌also‌‌noted‌‌that‌‌enrollment‌‌is‌‌at‌‌407‌‌but‌‌anticipates‌‌that‌‌enrollment‌‌will‌‌ increase‌‌by‌‌at‌‌least‌‌100‌‌during‌‌the‌‌remaining‌‌weeks‌‌before‌‌school‌‌starts.‌‌Staff‌‌are‌‌keeping‌‌an‌‌ eye‌‌on‌‌it.‌ ‌ ‌ 2. Financial‌‌ ‌ The‌‌written‌‌financial‌‌report‌‌included‌‌the‌‌cash‌‌balances‌‌in‌‌the‌‌operational‌‌and‌‌payroll‌‌accounts,‌‌ the‌‌20/21‌‌general‌‌fund‌‌budget‌‌remaining,‌‌information‌‌about‌‌the‌‌20/21‌‌budget‌‌appropriation‌‌
