School‌‌Update‌‌ ‌ Todd‌‌Schweitzer‌‌began‌‌the‌‌report‌‌section‌‌stating‌‌that‌‌this‌‌school‌‌year‌‌will‌‌be‌‌the‌‌fifth‌‌year‌‌for‌‌ FCA.‌‌He‌‌also‌‌provided‌‌a‌‌background‌‌of‌‌the‌‌parent‌‌internet‌‌stipends‌‌process‌‌stating‌‌that‌‌in‌‌the‌‌ 21/22‌‌school‌‌year,‌‌FCA‌‌will‌‌implement‌‌a‌‌written‌‌procedure‌‌that‌‌parents‌‌must‌‌return‌‌equipment‌‌ as‌‌applicable,‌‌and‌‌complete‌‌a‌‌Google‌‌form‌‌to‌‌receive‌‌the‌‌internet‌‌stipend.‌‌Stipends‌‌were‌‌ withheld‌‌from‌‌parents‌‌who‌‌had‌‌not‌‌returned‌‌Chromebooks‌‌in‌‌20/21‌‌and‌‌it‌‌improved‌‌parent‌‌ responsiveness.‌‌Todd‌‌also‌‌noted‌‌that‌‌enrollment‌‌is‌‌at‌‌407‌‌but‌‌anticipates‌‌that‌‌enrollment‌‌will‌‌ increase‌‌by‌‌at‌‌least‌‌100‌‌during‌‌the‌‌remaining‌‌weeks‌‌before‌‌school‌‌starts.‌‌Staff‌‌are‌‌keeping‌‌an‌‌ eye‌‌on‌‌it.‌ ‌ ‌ 2.

Financial‌‌ ‌ The‌‌written‌‌financial‌‌report‌‌included‌‌the‌‌cash‌‌balances‌‌in‌‌the‌‌operational‌‌and‌‌payroll‌‌accounts,‌‌ the‌‌20/21‌‌general‌‌fund‌‌budget‌‌remaining,‌‌information‌‌about‌‌the‌‌20/21‌‌budget‌‌appropriation‌‌

levels,‌‌and‌‌the‌‌amount‌‌of‌‌state‌‌school‌‌fund‌‌received‌‌in‌‌the‌‌20/21‌‌school‌‌year.‌‌Melissa‌‌Wolfer‌‌ discussed‌‌the‌‌20/21‌‌appropriations‌‌for‌‌general‌‌fund‌‌and‌‌special‌‌funds,‌‌a‌‌request‌‌to‌‌increase‌‌the‌‌ 21/22‌‌special‌‌fund‌‌budget‌‌appropriations,‌‌the‌‌extra‌‌duty‌‌positions‌‌for‌‌current‌‌employees‌‌to‌‌ provide‌‌services‌‌to‌‌students‌‌during‌‌summer‌‌school,‌‌a‌‌request‌‌to‌‌approve‌‌additional‌‌authorized‌‌ users‌‌for‌‌administration‌‌of‌‌the‌‌credit‌‌card‌‌account,‌‌the‌‌contract‌‌awarding‌‌student‌‌mental‌‌health‌‌ and‌‌special‌‌services‌‌to‌‌E-Therapy,‌‌the‌‌FCA‌‌Continuity‌‌of‌‌Service‌‌Plan‌‌required‌‌by‌‌ODE/OHA,‌‌and‌‌ that‌‌items‌‌typically‌‌approved‌‌at‌‌the‌‌annual‌‌board‌‌meeting‌‌such‌‌as‌‌check‌‌signers,‌‌employee‌‌ duties‌‌and‌‌authorizations,‌‌legal‌‌counsel,‌‌etc‌‌will‌‌all‌‌be‌‌the‌‌same‌‌as‌‌in‌‌the‌‌20/21‌‌school‌‌year.‌ ‌ ‌ Director‌‌Burch‌‌had‌‌a‌‌question‌‌about‌‌the‌‌credit‌‌card‌‌account.‌‌ ‌ ‌ Melissa‌‌addressed‌‌the‌‌internal‌‌control‌‌process‌‌and‌‌Todd‌‌went‌‌over‌‌the‌‌spending‌‌limits.‌ ‌ ‌ 3.‌

Principal‌‌Update‌ ‌ Katie‌‌Schweitzer‌‌reviewed‌‌the‌‌summer‌‌program‌‌stating‌‌that‌‌elementary‌‌students‌‌were‌‌placed‌‌in‌‌ enrichment‌‌programs‌‌while‌‌high‌‌school‌‌students‌‌recovered‌‌credits.‌‌The‌‌school‌‌had‌‌gathered‌‌ input‌‌from‌‌staff‌‌and‌‌families‌‌on‌‌the‌‌types‌‌of‌‌programs‌‌that‌‌students‌‌would‌‌be‌‌interested‌‌in‌‌and‌‌ participation‌‌was‌‌good‌‌and‌‌the‌‌program‌‌a‌‌success.‌‌Katie‌‌also‌‌discussed‌‌the‌‌upcoming‌‌staff‌‌ meeting‌‌which‌‌will‌‌be‌‌held‌‌at‌‌Pioneer‌‌School‌‌and‌‌online,‌‌the‌‌meet‌‌and‌‌greet‌‌with‌‌parents‌‌and‌‌ students‌‌on‌‌Wednesday,‌‌and‌‌the‌‌contacting‌‌of‌‌parents‌‌prior‌‌to‌‌school‌‌starting.‌ ‌
