Why Beaumont? At Beaumont, girls are prepared for any future they can imagine. Any field, any challenge, any moment that asks them to think clearly, act bravely and lead with purpose. Here, she learns to trust her own perspective and to ask questions, take intellectual risks and try something new. Through an International Baccalaureate education, she learns to ask better questions, see the world from more than one perspective and connect what she learns to what matters. She becomes an agile thinker. A confident leader. A strong woman who knows what she believes and has the courage to act on it.
Known deeply. Challenged bravely. Supported fully. That’s the Beaumont way.

Before Beaumont was a school, it was an act of courage. Rooted in St. Angela Merici’s belief that education could transform individuals, families, communities and society. One vision. Four women. A legacy that lives on.
The women who were there first. Long before Beaumont opened its doors, St. Angela Merici believed something radical for her time: girls deserved an education that would prepare them to know their worth, live their faith and make a difference in the world. That belief became the foundation of the Ursuline tradition. In 1850, four Ursuline Sisters carried St. Angela’s vision across an ocean to Cleveland, opening a school for girls and beginning a legacy of educating young women to lead, serve and change the world around them. 4
They were there first, not because the path was easy but because the work was just. That spirit still lives at Beaumont. Today, the beauty of Beaumont is not simply in its name, its campus or its history. It is in what happens here every day. It is in a girl learning to stand with others, not above them, and in becoming more confident, more capable, more compassionate and more fully herself. That’s the Beaumont tradition. That’s the spirit of St. Angela.
Because Beaumont is there for her, she learns to be there for herself, for others and for what matters. That is the beauty of becoming. That is Beaumont.
She Becomes. Where she finds her voice. At Beaumont, becoming isn’t about fitting a mold. It’s about discovering who she is, what she believes and what she is capable of. She doesn’t have to arrive knowing exactly who she will become. She needs a place that gives her room to explore, people who know her, challenges that stretch her and the confidence to move forward. She can ask questions, take risks and discover possibilities she hadn’t imagined for herself. That’s the beauty of becoming.

The Beaumont Difference. In an all-girls International Baccalaureate environment, every voice, role and opportunity is built for girls.
More than prepared. Ready to adapt. The world students are entering is changing faster than we can predict. Facts still matter. Preparation still matters. Academic rigor still matters. But the future will ask girls to do more than remember what they have learned. It will ask them to think clearly, adapt wisely, communicate across differences and act with purpose when the answer is not obvious. That is why IB matters. The International Baccalaureate was created with a global mission: to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who can help create a better and more peaceful world. IB teaches girls to ask better questions, connect ideas, understand different perspectives and apply what they learn with confidence. 8
It asks them not only what they know but also how they know, why it matters and what they will do next. IB gives girls room to question, reflect, connect and act. It helps them become stronger thinkers, more agile learners and more confident problem solvers. At Beaumont, IB gives girls a thinking advantage for college, career and life. Beaumont’s curriculum gives them the skills to become adaptable thinkers, compassionate leaders and courageous women ready to make a difference. Today’s leaders need more than answers; they require better questions. Beautiful Questions. Brave Answers.

She Believes. Rooted in presence. Formed for what is just. Beaumont’s Catholic identity is shaped by the Ursuline tradition — a tradition grounded in the belief that education can form young women for lives of faith, intellect, courage and service. Her faith becomes part of how she sees the world, how she treats others and how she chooses to live. What she believes shapes who she becomes.

What she believes becomes what she does. At Beaumont, faith is more than something girls learn about. It is something they live.
Faith in action. Purpose in practice. Through faith, service and leadership, she learns to notice what others need, listen with empathy and show up for what matters. She serves. She listens. She builds community. She stands up for what is just. Because what she believes matters. And what she does matters, too. She learns to lead. She learns to show up. 12

She Belongs. Belonging at Beaumont begins with being known. From her first day on campus, she has people beside her — teachers who know her, counselors who support her, coaches who challenge her and sisters who help her find her way. She has room to be herself, try something new, meet new friends and discover where she can make a difference. That belonging reaches across classrooms, teams, clubs, traditions, service and faith. In a community small enough to know her and expansive enough to challenge her, every girl has room to grow. She finds her people. She knows she belongs.
