Blue Streaks’ Spirit Strong ...................at Community Night
St. Angela was clearly “watching over our day” as the rain held off for the dedication of the new turf St. Angela Merici Field. Lead donors Rita Murphy Carfagna ’71 and her husband Peter were honored for their generous contribution and led the ribbon cutting ceremony as the Beaumont community came out strong to cheer on the Blue Streaks varsity soccer team. We celebrated Senior Night by honoring our 12 seniors and their parents. Grade school students joined us waving Blue Streak foam fingers and singing cheers alongside our spirit club. The Benedictine-Beaumont Band half-time show had our fans dancing in their seats. To top the event off, the East Coast Custard truck was on hand to treat guests with a free cone!
It was a special night for our community and we look forward to cheering the soccer and lacrosse teams on at their new home field.
