Municipal By-Election Dates Announced Citizens of Beaumont will go to the polls on Monday, February 5, 2018 for the byelection to fill the vacant council position. “The polls will be open at the Beaumont Community Centre for extended hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on by-election day,” says Mayor John Stewart. “In addition, there will be advance polls for citizens who wish to vote prior to by-election day, as well as special mail-in ballots for those who cannot attend on by-election day.” Advance polls are scheduled to take place in Council Chambers at the Town Office,
from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. two dates: • Saturday, January 27, 2018 • Saturday, February 3, 2018 Plus, citizens who wish to vote by special mail-in ballot should contact the Town Office to request the special ballot, and then follow the instructions. Special ballots must be received by the returning officer by noon on Monday, February 5, 2018. Information about the by-election is posted on the website at www.beaumont.ab.ca/176.
