CONSTRUCTION NOTICE Date: May 15, 2017 Attention: Beauridge Resident Re: Beaumont Neighbourhood Renewal – Beauridge Stage 1 Park-Aid Asphalt and Maintenance Ltd. (Park-Aid) has been retained by the Town of Beaumont for 2017 Neighbourhood Renewal. Weather permitting, on Tuesday May 18, 2017, Park-Aid will commence marking, cutting, removing and replacing sidewalks/curb and gutters, selected driveway aprons, and catch basin installation in your neighbourhood. Concrete sidewalks and traffic will be affected. This work will restrict and limit access and sidewalks may be closed and marked with appropriate signage. It is typical that once concrete is placed, it will require time to cure and harden before allowing traffic back onto the surface. The duration of the work for Stage 1 will take approximately 28 days depending on weather. See attached Staging map. Please respect the “no parking” signs and park your vehicle/s in an appropriate location/s to help us work safely and timely. This work will proceed in a timely manner. Once the concrete has been completed the neighbourhood will experience a new top lift of pavement that will involve cold milling of the existing asphalt pavement and repaving. Letters will be handed out prior to asphalt milling and paving at a later date. Garbage pick-up will continue normally (Thursdays) and we ask that you bring your garbage to the end of your driveway. Should you require assistance please call Park-Aid (per below Dean Waddington). ParkAid will ensure the garbage gets from the end of you driveway to the garbage truck. *Please advise Park-Aid as soon as possible if you have an irrigation system on your property (Dean Waddington 780-236-2365) to avoid any damage to your system. Sidewalk replacements typically are in close proximity to residential irrigation lines. We strive to minimize the impact to residences during these types of projects. However, we do expect some inconveniences and ask for residences to be patient. As well, please speak with your children about the potential dangers of heavy equipment and construction areas. We provide excellent safety measures and signage as well as worker education. However, any additional help to protect our children is always greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to a successful project this season. Should you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Park-Aid (per below) or approach our on-site staff and ask for a supervisor. We’re always open to discussion to assist residents during the completion of the project. Many thanks for your assistance during this construction season. Park-Aid Service Center for any concerns or additional work please call 780-469-7533. Dean Waddington Project Manager Park-Aid Asphalt and Maintenance Ltd. 780-236-2365
