Beauty may lie in the eye of the beholder, and creativity may not be quantified by any objective tools of our time, but art is nonetheless weighed and measured by its purveyors most passionate. In the EDM arena, that humble privilege rests at least in part on our shoulders as we review the genre’s most under- and overrated artists of 2018. Through combined decades of experience in the music industry, tallying hundreds of concerts and thousands of streams between us, the editorial team of BEATSELECTOR Magazine spent many long hours revisiting the many changes that the electronic dance music community had undergone in 2018.
