In response to Melbourne’s Stage 4 lockdown, I made 42 ceramic boats – one for each day of the lockdown, their stitched seams representing fragility and mending and patching lives.
The boats were then photographed by myself and Australian and overseas collaborators.
The boats could travel even when I could not.
I have compiled a number of the images into the “42days 42boats 42installations” book and have physically exhibited the ceramic boats, book and photographs together.
