The show of creative genius is seen in those who use a space in ways others would fathem. Unique ways to hide furniture, and create harmony in a room have been extraordinary. Other concepts like Wabi Sabi, Feng Shui, and Good Design lead the frontier in progressive design philosophy. In todays interior space Synergy, and a less is more approach is valued.

Buildings of the past have been used to depict many messages. Large towers that seemed to reach the clouds, where built to exude wealth, comfort, and confidence. This was done with little concern for resource consumption, and material longevity. Homes made from shipping containers, and Tiny Houses show what it means to live with bare necessaties. Today Minimalist concepts dominate the trends of the building world, as well as other areas of design.

The mission now and in the future is righting the wrongs of the past with more Green alternatives. New technologies are allowing materials like bamboo, hemp, and organic dyes to be used. 6. The value of Scarcity and White Space When a desirable product exist in few numbers, the Perceived Value is such that a high price tag is warranted. The thought of gaining an Opportunity Cost in hopes of saving money is an unbearable thought. For this reason, little value is placed on products offered in abundance and easily acquired.
