Compete in Beale’s first cardboard car competition! We will provide the cardboard, supplies and rules—you provide the creativity. Pick up your Car kit beginning September 1 at the Recce Point Club, anytime between 8am–4pm. Drop off your finished car before 4pm, September 11. The winners will be announced during the drive-in. One car kit per family and kits will only be available to those that sign up to attend the movie. The Club will be closed on September 4 and 7 in observance of Labor Day.
RULES • You will be provided with 1 cardboard box (2’ x 3’), 1 roll of tape, 4 paper plates, 1 cardboard round, 3 paint colors, and 2 paint brushes. You may ONLY use: Cardboard, Glue, Tape, Paper plates, Markers, Crayons, paint, plastic water/soda bottles, metal bottle caps, twine, yarn and string in lieu of what you are given. • NO paperclips, staples, tacks, metals, woods, glass, glitter, or other specialty items may be used/purchased in the building of your car. Imagine you are on a date to the Pumpkin Patch, what do you wear? Submit videos of you strutting down the runway, or your living room, in your best fall fashion. September 1–18

The remaining 15 minutes of the hour will be used to turn over the area. The Splash Pad will be sectioned off into three areas, allowing for 3 groups at a time. No more than 6 people per group. Masks are required during check in/out and may be removed once you have reached your assigned section. Please continue to practice physical distancing. The Splash Pad is FREE.
