POWERLIFTING COMPETITION

Lift Big, Win Big! Join the Beale Powerlifting Competition and get ready to showcase your strength! Compete in our powerlifting event featuring three key lifts: squat, bench, and deadlift. We have categories for both men and women (lightweight/ heavyweight). Lift the most and take home the title!

Competition Schedule:

• Heavyweight Division: 8:30am–11am

• Lightweight Division: 11:30am–1:30pm

Scandia Fun Center Teen Trip

Mar 21 • 6–11pm, from $40

Teens will enjoy unlimited rides and golf, points for the arcade and other attractions, as well as dinner with their admission. For ages 13-18. We will depart the Youth Center at 6pm and make it back by 11pm. $40 non-members, YP members receive 20% discount. Sign up on CYPBMS under Teen Trips by Friday, Mar 14.

I joined the Air Force in 2016. I arrived at Beale AFB in February 2022. Since then, I’ve advanced my career, joined the honor guard, deployed to my dream destination, and became the storeroom NCOIC. I enjoy traveling, food, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.

Stuffy Sleepover

Mar 14–15

Children can bring their favorite stuffed toy to the library and enjoy a special Story Time on Mar 14 at 2:30pm, decorate a canvas tote, and tuck them into a bed afterward. Staff will post pictures on social media of their overnight activities and shenanigans. Drop off your stuffy as early as 8am if you cannot attend the event. Do not forget to pick up your stuffy on Saturday Mar 15 between 9am–2pm. Families get a digital photo book and a goodie bag to take home on pick up day.

Gray Lodge, a Pacific Flyway haven, supports over 300 wildlife species. Explore exhibits, take a self-guided tour, and visit scenic Cordi Winery. Bring a picnic lunch. Downtown Tahoe and Snowshoeing

Join the Beale ITT Department for a delightful day excursion to North Lake Tahoe, with the opportunity to go snowshoeing in the pristine snowy forests of Tahoe’s National Forest! Includes transportation, parking and snowshoeing equipment. Sign up by Mar 3. (Trip subject to weather conditions).

Auto Hobby

Our lead mechanic will teach you basic car ownership responsibilities and routine maintenance do’s and don’ts. We will discuss checking and changing oil, market value of materials, and basic safety checks. Staff will also provide a complimentary orientation of our DIY services offered, ensuring you feel confident using the facility.

Workshop for maximum 10 DIYers. Call Auto Hobby to sign up by Mar 14.

Enjoy sandy beaches, delicious seafood, and maybe get a glimpse of a migrating whale. Includes transport only. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear, extra clothes, sunscreen, water, and food. Sign up by Mar 11.
