Our newY7 parents recently enjoyed a proper Beaconsfield High School welcome as they mingled at Halcyon Interiors, sampled Gaggenauprepared canapés and sipped on Thomson & Scott’s organic, vegan and low-sugar sparkling prosecco and champagnes.

You can do your bit for the school’s fundraising efforts by volunteering to help arrange one of our parents’ social events. The Friends of Beaconsfield High School looks after quiz and comedy nights, our Christmas festivities and even our Burns Night celebration! No committees, no long-term commitment. Just one event.

THE BEACONSFIELD SOCIETY: South Bucks District Council wants to release c.300 acres of your green belt to develop up to 1700 homes, offices/warehouses and a travellers' site. The area is HUGE, bigger by far than the ex MOD base at Wilton Park. This development would strangle Beaconsfield, stretching infrastructure to breaking point: traffic, health, education and utilities. Some may say that affordable housing is needed in the town but nothing suggests that would result, just more ÂŁ1M+ mansions in gated communities and developer profits. Doing nothing will only allow the council to push this through.
