Great news! You raised £11,000 for Phase 2 of the toilet refurbs!

You’ve done a fantastic job in starting off the fundraising for Phase 2. Thank you.

And look - Phase 1 of our toilet refurbs is underway!

It seems even our loos dare to be remarkable…

How can you help us ensure we get Phase 2 off the ground?

Presentable, clean and efficient toilet blocks are a necessity for any school. For Phase 1, we have been able to use our reserves to finally upgrade the toilet facilities.

Did you know?

Each refurbished toilet cubicle costs £4,000 when you include all materials, products and labour.

Can you help with Phase 2?

Phase 2 will cost £125,000. The school hopes that you, our community, can help us raise £25,000 of that (at least). If we could raise even more the school could instead invest that money in enriching activities and other improvements to the environment, to benefit our students – your children.

Phase 2 shopping list: Floating toilets, automatic taps, automatic flushes, laminated doors, trough sinks, seamless wall covering, flooring, toilet roll holders.

The thinking behind our choices

This new generation of toilet blocks may look different from other schools, but our students who chose the fixtures and fittings did so because they wanted everyone to take pride in our new facilities, and look after them as if they were at home.

Features like automatic flushes and floating toilets are a better design choice, will stand the test of time better than standard items and ensure a far more hygienic environment.

Next week you’ll have the chance to contribute to the second leg of the fundraising, by purchasing* virtual items from our shopping list!

*Purchasing a virtual fixture or fitting is in fact a donation to the fundraising campaign. If you have completed a Gift Aid form we will be able to raise even more from your donation!

Items range from £20 - £1,000 to suit all budgets. Remember, if every family donates we will reach our target!
