Very unique work experience with ponies for summer or a weekend job

Work experience (min age 12) at Aescwood Farm children’s riding school in Seer Green near Chalfont st. Giles.

Our riding school is for children aged 4 to 12 and we are currently recruiting new staff and we are looking for new helpers to help out at our stables on Saturdays (09:00 till either 14:00 or 16:00), Sundays (09:00 till 14:00) and Wednesdays throughout the summer holidays (09:00-16:00). The work will include feeding, grooming the ponies and general stable management. It may also consist of helping out within the lessons, usually leading the less confident riders, assisting the teachers and eventually teaching the actual lessons if becoming staff! No experience is needed, just lots of enthusiasm!

I’m 17 and am now ‘’head boy’’, I started riding at Aescwood when I was just 4 years old, I then moved on to becoming a helper and then staff. I have learnt so many life skills in the 13 years I’ve been here and seen so many of the younger helpers and staff improve in confidence and also in so many different ways. I also think that coming to the stables would be very beneficial for anyone interested in working with animals or children in the future or if you just want to enjoy the great fun and the experiences it has to offer!

please don't hesitate to make contact if you have any questions or if you would like to come and visit to get a feel for the place and meet our lovely ponies this too can be arranged. Please call Donna on 01494 875048 or email me at christianallmey@gmail.com
