He has played music professionally for over 30 years. He is BeaconFest’s sound manager and has performed at numerous events across the Grand Valley for over a decade.

The Band Wanted
10:00 am, Country/Gospel The Band Wanted is a three-piece band made up of Joshua and Candy Carpenter, and their daughter Tasha Stacey. Joshua sings and is the pianist/producer for the band, Candy sings vocals and plays bass guitar, and Tasha accompanies her parents with the drums and the ukulele. 11:00 am, Bluegrass/Ragtime Danny Agajanian plays a mix of bluegrass, ragtime and Civil War-era music. Once a warm-up artist for Billy Graham, he has toured with many performers and has played in many venues across the U.S. and Canada, including churches, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, the Golden Nugget, the Grand Ole Opry and more. He has lived in Grand Junction for over 20 years.
Paula Dunfee
12:00 pm, Piano/Show tunes Paula Dunfee has entertained at venues from Las Vegas and Arizona to Colorado. She loves to entertain and enjoys touching people’s hearts through music. She especially enjoys playing for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, as she believes that music is the only universal language. She is interactive with her audience, and she plays everything from Broadway tunes and ragtime to modern music.
Mary Lee Bowen & Ellen Roberts call themselves “wannabe Patsy Clines” and put on a fun-filled performance with music and memorabilia from the era of Patsy Cline.
