Black Canyon Car Club awards $5,000 to Valley Symphony Association
Black Canyon Classics Car Club recently awarded $5,000 to the Valley Symphony Association (VSA) from the proceeds of the club’s 27th Colorful Colorado Car, Truck, and Rod Show, which was held June 3-5. At the show, members of the VSA Chorus performed the National Anthem and members of the VSA Orchestra’s brass and woodwind section put together a polka band to play throughout the festivities at Cerise Park. The club’s president, Shane Brown, said, “We were able to top last year’s charity donation by eliminating some of our expenses, so we put that right back to the community through the VSA. We hope everyone who turned out to support our show will support their upcoming season, too.” For information on the car club, visit www.blackcanyonclassics. org. To learn more about VSA, visit www.valleysymphony.net or call 970-765-8323.
