The Tournament of Roses names Ana Marie Acosta 2014 rose queen

Over the last few days, Alhambra Police have had several copper wire thefts reported. They have occurred in the 600 Block of S. Winthrop, 1300 Block of S. Westminster, and the 2800 Block of W. Shorb. If all the street lights on your street suddenly go out, there is a good chance that the copper wires are being stolen, the police say. The thefts cause the City thousands of dollars each. If you see someone working on the lights that are not in an Alhambra City Vehicle, please call the police department immediately.

The Monterey Park Police Department is announcing that there will be a Pedestrian Enforcement Operation on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the intersection of New Ave. and Whitmore St. The operation will be during daytime hours. Pasadena PD kept a watchful eye on the protestors who were peaceful and not disruptive of any of the ceremonies.
