Aug. 28

At 1:03 p.m., an officer responded the 300 block of East Foothill Boulevard regarding a vandalism report. A witness reported seeing the suspect, described as a dark-skinned male with a beard and wearing all-black clothing. He threw an object at one of the business’ windows and shattered it. The suspect was located nearby, and the 49-year-old male transient was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. A records check also revealed he had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

At 5:06 p.m., an officer responded to the parking lot of Cheesecake Factory, located at 400 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a stolen vehicle report. The victim stated his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado was taken from the parking lot sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 28.

Aug. 29

At 8:35 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 500 block of West Huntington Drive, regarding a burglary report. An investigation revealed someone entered the residence, used the shower, and had left various items behind.

At 5:21 p.m., an officer responded to 24 Hour Fitness, located at 125 N. First Ave., regarding a stolen bicycle report. Sometime between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., someone stole the victim’s Red Road Shark racing bicycle that had been secured to the bike rack. The investigation is pending a review of any available surveillance footage.

At 7:33 p.m., an officer responded to the 200 block of El Dorado Street regarding a theft from vehicle report. The victim discovered his catalytic converter had been stolen from his Honda Odyssey sometime during the previous night.

At 8:35 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of West Sierra Madre Boulevard regarding a battery report. An investigation revealed an altercation between a husband and wife resulted in the male half hitting the victim in the head, causing visible injuries. Arcadia Fire responded to provide treatment. The 69-year-old male from Arcadia was arrested and transported to the Arcadia City Jail for booking.

Aug. 30

At 12:03 a.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Alta Vista Avenue regarding a disturbance. The officer discovered a fight between a boyfriend and girlfriend resulted in an incident of mutual battery, where both parties hit the other. Arcadia Fire responded to provide treatment to one of the parties.

Aug. 31

At 10:33 a.m., an officer responded to the 700 block of West Naomi Avenue regarding a notification of a stolen vehicle in the area. Officers located the unoccupied vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Los Angeles Sheriff Department, Altadena Station.

At 11:07 p.m., an officer responded to the intersection of Holly Avenue and Campus Drive regarding the notification of a stolen vehicle in the area. Assisting officers located the vehicle and conducted a high-risk traffic stop. Inside the vehicle was a driver and two occupants. The officers ultimately arrested the driver, a 23-year-old male transient and released the two occupants.

At 12:53 p.m., an officer responded to Albertanos Mexican Food, located at 211 E. Live Oak Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. Surveillance footage captured two suspects entering a rear storage area and stealing tools. The officer was able to identify them as a 35-year-old male from San Dimas and a 43-yearold female from San Dimas.

At 4:15 p.m., an officer responded to a business located at 5460 Peck Rd. regarding a vehicle burglary report. Surveillance footage revealed the suspect smashed the victim’s window as soon as the victim walked away, and the lone suspect fled with a stolen wallet. The suspect is described as a 25 to 30-year-old male driving a blue Prius. MONROVIA the business, loaded their bags full of merchandise and fled the store without making any atAug. 25 tempts to pay for the items. This investigation is continuing.

At 1:48 a.m., a victim in the 800 block of West Duarte Rd. reported she was in her apartment when she heard someone trying to open her window. She’d reported several times earlier in the week that her ex-boyfriend had attempted to break into her apartment. That same day she was walking in the area and the suspect drove up to her and made threats to her as she walked away later that same evening. The suspect was outside her apartment and threatened her. There is a recent history of domestic violence involving the couple. Later that evening, an officer patrolling the area saw the suspect sneaking around the victim’s complex and detained him. The subject's identity was confirmed and he was arrested. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

At 9:41 a.m., an officer contacted a subject while providing extra patrol to a park in the 1700 block of South Myrtle. The subject had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and taken into custody.

At 10:17 a.m., an employee of a drug store in the 400 block of West Huntington reported that on Aug. 15 at 12 p.m., three female suspects entered

At 11:09 a.m., a victim stated as he was walking out of a bank in the 100 block of West Foothill Blvd., an unknown male subject hit him on the back of the head and fled. This investigation is continuing.

At 3:31 p.m., a manager of a grocery store in the 100 block of West Foothill called to report that a male subject had just stolen merchandise. The suspect failed to make any attempts to pay. This investigation is continuing.

At 5:06 p.m., the victim reported that while shopping at a store in the 700 block of East Huntington two subjects approached him and convinced him to drive them to the bank and withdraw a large sum of money. After the bank, the victim made a stop at his home, went inside and upon returning to his vehicle, the two suspects were gone with his money. This investigation is continuing.

At 5:57 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 600 block of West Huntington regarding a theft that just occurred. A female subject entered the store, stole merchandise and fled without making any attempts to pay for the items. This

At 7:05 p.m., a caller reported a two-vehicle collision in the area of Walnut and Fifth. Officers arrived and determined a driver failed to yield to an approaching vehicle, causing the accident. Both drivers complained of pain and were treated and released at the scene.

Aug. 26

At 12:34 a.m., an officer saw a male subject commit a traffic violation on a bicycle at the intersection of Primrose and Cypress. The officer stopped the bicyclist and discovered concealed narcotics on the subject. The subject was arrested and released in the field with a citation.

At 1:20 a.m., an officer saw a vehicle parked in a lot with the trunk open at a closed business in the 200 block of West Duarte Rd. The officer stopped and made contact with a male subject near the vehicle. An investigation revealed the subject was in possession of narcotics. The subject was arrested and released in the field with a citation.

At 9:28 a.m., a victim in the 400 block of Sunset called to report that a stroller was stolen from her front yard. This investigation is continuing.

At 10:48 a.m., the victim

parked in front of a house in the 300 block of East Olive. When she walked back out approximately ten minutes later, her vehicle was gone. The vehicle was located shortly after at the rear of a business in the 100 block of East Olive. The manager of the business was able to retrieve surveillance footage that captured the suspect dropping off the vehicle. The manager later reported the suspect was in the bar and disturbing patrons. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

At 11:53 a.m., a business in the 100 block of West Foothill called to report there was an intoxicated female at the location. Officers located the female, who was a juvenile and displayed objective signs and symptoms of intoxication. She was arrested and taken into custody. The juvenile was released to the custody of her mother.

At 1:40 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 100 block of East Olive regarding a disturbing subject bothering patrons. Officers located the subject an investigation revealed he was in possession of a meth pipe. The subject was arrested and taken into custody.

At 3:11 p.m., a victim in the 900 block of South Primrose reported that someone stole the catalytic converter from his vehicle. This investigation is continuing.
