Monrovia has been waiting a long time for theatres, both stage and screen, to come back to life and just when you thought it was safe to be indoors again without masks and LOOK Dine-In Cinemas opened in town, the spread of the Delta COVID-19 variant prompted health officials in Los Angeles County to once again mandate masks indoors, even if you are fully vaccinated. The former Monrovia site of Krikorian Theaters/ Movie Studio Grill has a new look, if you’ll kindly pardon the intentional pun. LOOK Dine-In Cinemas, like Movie Studio Grill before it, offers moviegoers an uninterrupted viewing experience as food can be ordered from your seat, or at a kiosk in the lobby when purchasing tickets, and staff will deliver it to you. Programming will include independent films, documentaries, event screenings, music and conversations, according to its website. LOOK has announced six new locations opening this year with more to be announced soon. In addition to the Monrovia location, one theater has already opened in Redlands and two more are set to open locally this month. The eight-screen LOOK Dine-In Cinemas, Downey is located at 8200 Third St. and is set to open on Thursday. The Glendale theater, located at 128 Artsakh Ave., boasts 10-screens and is set to open on July 29. During the first week of business, each California LOOK location will offer moviegoers a preview admission price of $5 per ticket. Additionally, moviegoers can explore the menu and receive 25% off food and non-alcoholic beverages for the first four weeks after
