ormer Pasadena Fire Chief Bertral Washington has been named the Deputy Chief of Administration for the San Bernardino County Fire Department. According to statement by the county department, Washington will oversee
its planning and accreditation, training and safety, support services, emergency medical services and community risk reduction efforts. “Chief Washington has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fire service,” said San Bernardino County Fire
Chief Dan Munsey said. “His diverse experience as a chief officer, coupled with his strong foundation of innovation, strategic planning, and leadership development, will assist our management team.”
Antibody Study Shows Coronavirus Spread Wider in Riverside County

Results of a COVID-19 antibody testing study indicate the virus may have infected more than 100,000 Riverside County residents. This finding underscores the need to wear face coverings as people may have the virus without any symptoms, then easily spread it to others when not wearing a mask or keeping six feet of distance. The randomized study, the results of which are still being analyzed, was conducted over two weekends this month. Riverside County health officials originally planned
The Duarte City Council passed an urgency ordinance at its meeting on Tuesday, July 28, which builds on State and County public orders intended to contain the coronavirus, protect high risk populations and flatten the curve of cases for hospitals.
