At 12:25 a.m., an officer responded to Hilton Garden Inn, located at 199 N. Second Ave., regarding a theft from vehicle report. The victim stated he left his rental vehicle parked and unlocked overnight and he discovered his wallet and sweatshirt had gone missing.

At 7:32 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 00 block of West Las Flores Avenue regarding a residential burglary report. An investigation revealed unknown suspects shattered a glass panel to a backdoor and fled emptyhanded. The reporting party could not account for why the alarm system was inoperable.

June 15

At 8:29 a.m., an officer responded to Claro’s Italian Market, located at 19 E. Huntington Drive, regarding a vandalism report. A store employee discovered an unknown suspect threw a rock through a glass door. It didn’t appear as thought the suspect(s) entered the store. The investigation is pending a review of surveillance footage.

At 8:48 a.m., an officer responded to Premium Escrow, located at 150 N. Santa Anita Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. The officer determined sometime between June 12 and June 15, an unknown suspect entered the business through a glass emergency door, ransacked the location, and fled with two cellphones. The investigation is pending a review of the business’ surveillance footage.

June 16

At 7:28 a.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of West Live Oak Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle report. The victim discovered his 2000 Honda Civic was stolen sometime during the previous evening. The vehicle was recovered by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Temple Station and an arrest was made.

At 10:53 a.m., an officer responded to Ralphs, located at 211 E. Foothill Blvd., regarding a shoplifting report. A store employee witnessed two suspects steal 12 bottles of Hennessey liquor before fleeing in a blue Toyota Prius. Suspect 1 is described as a male wearing a red Adidas jacket and black pants. Suspect 2 is described as having dreadlocks and was seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray shorts.

June 17

At 10:16 a.m., an officer took a telephonic report for an incident of fraud. The victim, a resident in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue, received a text message from her bank regarding possible suspicious activity. Upon checking her debit account, the victim discovered four fraudulent transactions, a loss totaling $291. The victim was still in possession of her debit card and does not know how the suspect(s) accessed her information.

At 6:40 p.m., an officer responded to Extended Stay America, located at 401 E. Santa Clara St., regarding a stolen vehicle report. The victim discovered someone had stolen her car keys from a hotel bench and the victim noticed her car had been stolen.

June 18

At 9:24 a.m., an officer responded to Chateau Operating, located at 119 La Porte St., regarding a vandalism report. The property manager discovered someone had shattered a second story window and found a broken bottle of alcohol near the shattered window. It appears the suspect did not enter the business.

June 19

At 12:36 p.m., an officer responded to Home Liquor, located at 502 E. Live Oak Ave., regarding an attempted burglary investigation. Surveillance footage revealed two suspects cut the padlock to an exterior fence and attempted to enter the business. The suspects were seen on camera fleeing on foot. Suspect 1 is described as being approximately 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, was wearing a dark hat, dark mask, light hooded sweater, dark pants, dark shoes, and light gloves. Suspect 2 is described as being approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, was wearing a dark hat, dark mask, light hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark

Just before 9:23 a.m., an officer responded to Jimon Health and Beauty Center, located at 912 S. Baldwin Ave., regarding a commercial burglary report. The officer determined an unknown suspect smashed the front glass window to both the Jimon Health and Beauty Center as well as the neighboring business, Nails Spa, located at 910 S. Baldwin Ave. No loss was reported from Jimon Health and Beauty Center, but miscellaneous pieces of equipment were stolen from Nails Spa. Surveillance footage revealed the suspect is a white male, approximately 45 to 55-yearsold, with a mustache, thin build, a buttoned-up shirt, and dark pants.

June 20

At 11:18 a.m., an officer took a telephonic fraud report for a victim who resides in the 100 block of West Arthur Avenue. The victim stated she received a phone call from someone to claiming to be with Southern California Edison. The suspect then stated the victim had an outstanding balance of $498.36 and that the amount owed could be paid with a Money Pak Visa Card. The victim complied with the suspect’s instructions and gave the suspect the card information. When the victim tried to call back to inquire about the confirmation email, she discovered the phone had been disconnected and the payment was fraudulent.

At 12:54 p.m., an officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of California Street regarding a fraud report. The victim discovered unknown suspect(s) had been using her Social Security Number and multiple names to obtain housing. During her investigation, the victim learned her juvenile child’s Social Security Number had also been compromised and was being used for unauthorized purposes.

June 11

At 8:12 a.m., a caller reported three vehicles collided into one another in the 800 block of West Huntington. Officers arrived and found the three vehicles’ bumpers hit one another and one of the drivers was complaining of pain to her lower back, she had no visible injuries. A report was taken and the party found to be at fault was issued a citation.

At 2:37 p.m., a customer at a shopping center in the 600 block of West Huntington reported a male subject hit him in the face then fled the area in a vehicle. Officers responded and searched for the suspect but could not locate him. The victim refused paramedics. This investigation is continuing.

At 3:29 p.m., a gardener reported someone took his gardening tools from the back of his parked truck in the 200 block of West Walnut. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle. Officers searched for the suspect but could not locate him.

At 7:53 p.m., officers responded to a call of intoxicated subjects that were drinking alcohol and throwing trash out of their parked vehicle in the 100 block of West Foothill. Officers responded and contacted two subjects, one of which was too intoxicated to care for his own well-being or that of others. The subject was arrested for public intoxication and taken into custody.

June 12

At 1:53 a.m., an employee from a business in the 400 block of West Foothill called to report a theft. A male subject entered the store and took merchandise without making any attempt to pay for the items. This investigation is continuing.

At 6:46 a.m., an employee from a business in the 400 block of West Duarte called to report the front window of their vacant business was shattered. There was no indication that the subject(s) made entry or attempted a burglary. This investigation is continuing.

At 2:22 p.m., an employee from a business in the 1600 block of South Mountain called to report a subject selected several tools, hid them in his waistband, and attempted to leave without paying for them. He was stopped by loss prevention investigators and escorted back to the office. Officers arrived and accepted the private person’s arrest. The subject was issued a citation and released in the field.

At 10:45 p.m., a caller reported a traffic collision in the 1500 block of South Mayflower. A motorist was traveling south on Mayflower from Evergreen and made an unsafe turning movement which caused him to collide into the north gate of a residence and into a parked RV. Further investigation revealed that the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The driver was arrested and taken into custody.

June 13

At 2:59 p.m., an officer was patrolling the area of Huntington and Monterey when he saw a person he knew from prior contacts. A computer check revealed he had a no bail warrant. The subject was detained and was later released on a citation.

At 6:46 p.m., an employee from a business in the 800 block of East Huntington called to report a subject was inside the business causing a disturbance. Officers responded and spoke with the subject. Further investigation revealed the subject was too intoxicated and unable to care for himself or others. He was arrested.

June 14

At 4:32 a.m., officers were dispatched to a burglary alarm at a business in the 100 block of West Lemon. Officers arrived and found a door that had been pried open. They checked the damaged door and heard a noise inside the business then saw two subjects inside the business. Both subjects fled into the business which is currently under construction. Containment was set up with the assistance of Sierra Madre PD and Arcadia PD. The two suspects were located and taken into custody.

At 8:06 a.m., a caller stated she parked her vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 700 block of West Huntington. Sometime during the early morning hours the vehicle was stolen. This investigation is continuing. Walnut called to report that sometime during the night her purse was taken from her unlocked vehicle. This investigation is continuing.

At 2:18 p.m., a business owner in the 800 block of West Foothill called to report that his office and several other offices had their windows broken. The investigation revealed there were several commercial burglaries. This investigation is continuing.

At 7:12 p.m., a resident in the 800 block of West Walnut called to report that his vehicle was broken into sometime during the night. An unknown suspect forced entry into the vehicle. The victim was unable to determine if there was a loss. This investigation is continuing.

June 15

At 8:15 a.m., an employee from an apartment complex in the 600 block of West Duarte called to report that someone broke into the office over the weekend by breaking a small window. The employees checked the location, there was no loss. This investigation is continuing.

At 7:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to a call in the 700 block of East Huntington, a female reported she was being followed by her exboyfriend who threatened to kill her. The boyfriend tapped his vehicle into her vehicle and fled. An officer was in the area and saw the suspect vehicle driving east on Huntington and stopped it a short distance away. The victim said the boyfriend was armed with a gun. A search of the vehicle revealed an unregistered loaded Glock handgun. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

June 17

At 12:33 p.m., the victim was sitting at a table in front of a business in the 600 block of South Myrtle when a suspect exited the business and "sucker punched" the victim. Officers arrived and interviewed the victim and discovered the victim was having a meal with the suspect's ex-girlfriend. The suspect returned to the scene and confirmed he punched the victim. The suspect was arrested at the scene and issued a citation.
