MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER OF RAPPER NIPSEY HUSSLE
man was charged with fatally shooting rap artist Nipsey Hussle and wounding two others in South Los Angeles over the weekend, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced. Eric Ronald Holder Jr. (dob 11/21/89) was charged in case BA476704 with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. The criminal complaint also includes allegations that he personally used a firearm and caused great bodily injury and death. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Department 40 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center. Deputy District Attorney John McKinney of the Major Crimes Division is prosecuting the case. Orange County Sheriff’s Department Remembers Retired Narcotics K-9 The Orange County Sheriff Department is saddened to announce the passing of retired Police Service Dog, “Luna.” Luna, a 14-year-old Belgian Malinois, passed away Sunday, March 31, comforted by her handler, Deputy Jones. PSD Luna was born in the Netherlands in January 2005 and was certified in the sport of Koninklijke
Nederlandse Politehond Vereniging, or KNPV. After the certification process, she joined the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in 2009 and received her first assignment as a narcotics detection canine. Luna was first assigned to now-retired reserve
