The Great Pyrenees Association of Southern California Rescue (GPASC Rescue) held its semi-annual Pyr-In at Arcadia County Park on Sunday. Twenty-eight Great Pyrenees, most of them alumni of the Rescue, attended the reunion along with their human companions. Canine and human friendships were renewed as owners took turns recounting the stories of their Pyr’s rescue. The event took on a picnic atmosphere with games, pizza and lots of picture-taking.
