Old Town Report We had an unusually productive MOTAB meeting this morning – and for those of you who get crazy when you hear an acronym, that’s “Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board” to you. The meetings are held at 9:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the council chambers and usually last about an SEE PAGE 12
City hall gets a fresh coat of paint - Certified Painters started the exterior repainting of city hall on Monday.

CITY HALL GETS A FACELIFT - NEW COLOR SCHEME A Monrovia-based painting contractor (Certified Painters Inc.) has started an exterior painting facelift at city hall, including touching up the “Monrovia” sign at the entrance.
After working through the details, painting actually began Monday. As part of this exterior painting effort, staff is working to repaint the “Monrovia” sign, the roof-
line/gutters on the front exterior of the building, and the building columns facing Ivy Avenue. The private areas to the rear and side of city hall, including the employee parking area, are not in-
cluded in this repainting effort. As the city developed this project, they have also identified a new paint color scheme to better compliment the stone exterior of city hall.
