Historic Preservation Commission Entitles Santa Fe Depot Rehabilitation Work
The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) recently voted unanimously to approve the scope of work for the rehabilitation of the Historic Santa Fe Depot! This action by the HPC means that the proposed renovation work for the Historic Santa Fe Depot facility has been approved and the development team at Daylight Limited LLC (the group leading the rehabilitation work) can now proceed to the building plan check process. The mood at the HPC meeting was festive and commission members strongly emphasized how pleased they were with the work performed by the Daylight Limited development team. Given the approval, it is expected that actual construction work will begin in mid-to-late-summer 2016. In addition, with the scope of work that needs to be done, assuming a summer 2016 start date and barring any unforeseen circumstances, we anticipate that the rehabilitation work at the Historic Santa Fe Depot could be complete towards the end of calendar year 2016 or early 2017.
With approval from the HPC, the Santa Fe Depot rehabilitation project is expected to begin this summer.
