The Los Angeles County Fire Department will be coordinating a training exercise on Friday, May 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Monrovia at Helispot 44-B. During this training session, local firefighters will be conducting a variety of drills and exercises in preparation for the fire season at Helispot 44-B, which is located north of Norumbega Drive (past Valmont Drive) about 1.5 miles south of Sawpit Dam.
