By Terry Miller At the May 28, 2013 City Council meeting, the City Council adopted new hours for City Hall and the Community Recreation offices as a part of the fiscal year 2013-2015 bi-annual budget.

19 year old Duarte resident arrested for robbing multiple convenience stores On Thursday, May 30, 2013, Temple Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a gas station located on the 3800 block of Colorado Boulevard, Unincorporated Pasadena, regarding a “Robbery Just Occurred” call for service. The two victims, who are employees of the gas station, said they saw the suspect park a vehicle near the business. The suspect walked to the front door of the business carrying a baseball bat and ski mask. According to the witnesses, the suspect now identified as 19 year-old Malcolm Buchanan of Duarte, stopped short of the front door and placed the ski mask over his head and face, after the witnesses had already seen his face.
