Veterans, families of those currently serving, and the general public are invited to attend a special Veterans Day ceremony sponsored by the City of Duarte and Duarte’s Promise -- The Alliance for Youth at Thorsen Park, Thursday, Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. Thorsen Park is located at 2800 Huntington Dr. at Encanto Parkway. Seating will be available at the ceremony and refreshments, donated by the Duarte Kiwanis Club and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, will be served immediately after the ceremony.
