A WORLD OF FLAVORS AND FUN AT GLOBAL DAY On February 28th, BAKIS welcomed the spring term by transforming the school for its Global Day festivities, bringing the richness of world cultures to life. Students and staff danced, sang, and set up fascinating national pavilions. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks from around the globe, all while celebrating the beauty of diversity. As a truly international school, BAKIS is proud to host such a vibrant and spectacular day of global perspectives.

UNIVERSITY FAIR OPENS DOORS TO THE FUTURE

SPORTS MANIA TAKES OVER BAKIS

On March 7th, the Gym Hall buzzed with excitement as the University Fair for High School Students unfolded.

Students were presented with a vibrant tapestry of universities, each offering insights into courses, campus life, and the endless possibilities awaiting them. The fair was more than just a showcase of universities; it was a celebration of potential and possibility. As we reflect on the success of the University Fair for High School Students, let us carry forward the spirit of exploration and possibility that permeated our campus on that unforgettable day.

Get ready, get set, cheer! Between March 19th and 22nd, our halls echoed with the roar of competition during Sports Week. Students across all age groups showcased their teamwork and sportsmanship in exciting activities like egg & spoon races and dodgeball.

Congratulations to the winners: Blue Team (KG & Grade 1), Red Team (Elementary), Red Team (Gr. 5-13 Boys), and Red Team (Gr. 5-13 Girls)!

SPELLING BEE CROWNS CHAMPIONS Sharpen your skills for listening and cognition! On February 1st, grades 1-12 battled it out in the annual Spelling Bee. Students eagerly vied for the prestigious trophy in their respective grades, armed with spelling bee lists to aid their preparation.

Armed with their study lists and nerves of steel, students competed fiercely to spell their way to victory. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as contestants took turns challenging each other to spell words correctly, showcasing their linguistic prowess.

This year, some grades even witnessed a tie - a testament to the incredible spelling skills on display!

CRAZY HAIR DAY: LET YOUR CREATIVITY RUN WILD!

February wasn't all serious business! Crazy Hair Day unleashed the inner artist in our students. From unicorns and Harry Potter characters to Medusa and mermaids, the variety of hairstyles was truly awe-inspiring. It was a day filled with laughter, self-expression, and some truly unforgettable hair creations!

Our students continued their impressive journey as global citizens with their second participation in the Model United Nations (MUN) held between the 16th & 18th of February. They honed their diplomatic skills, delved into complex global issues, and delivered powerful arguments during constructive debates.

This dedication to tackling real-world challenges proves their commitment to making a difference on the international stage.
