The First Word Dear Parents/ G uardians This has been a year o f endeavo urs and acco mplishments. The scho o l aims at pro viding a safe and secure enviro nment to the students. Keeping in view the well-being o f students the Child Pro tectio n Po licy was implemented this year to ensure that students feel even mo re pro tected. They have been unperturbed in disc ussing their c o nc erns with the Child Pro tec tio n Co o rdina to rs. PSHE lesso ns have also pro vided an o ppo rtunity to the students to realize their o wn e mo tio ns a nd o the rs’ fe e ling s to b e c o me a g o o d huma n b e ing . Like always, the students are invo lved into a variety o f activities to nurture their multiple intelligences. They have perfo rmed very well in the Inter-branch debate and sing ing co mpetitio ns. O ur yo ung artists have been successful in many Art co mpetitio ns arrang ed by different o rg anizatio ns. The teachers are always enthusiastic to give exciting experiences to the students so that they take pleasure in learning to g ether. The event started with a co lo urful O pening Ceremo ny fo llo wed by W alk Past. All the athletes enthusiastically to o k part in the events like Yo g a, P.E display, Taekwo ndo , G ymnastics and track events. Everyo ne witnessed a g re a t sho w o f fa ir p la y, mo d e sty a nd sp irit o f sp o rtsma nship a mo ng the yo ung a thle te s o f G P IV.

e -Founda t ion Course Pro fessio nal develo pment has always been an integ ral part o f Beaco nho use Scho o l System. e-fo undatio n is a co mputer literacy co urse that enables teachers meet the challeng es o f the 2 1 st century learning . G ulshan Primary IV teachers, in co llabo ratio n with different branches, had the o ppo rtunity to enro ll in this intensive co urse. This seven-day co urse co nducted by Ms Ayesha Siddiqui ( ETC Scho o l G ro up II) was aimed at training the faculty members to demo nstrate ho w to deliver IT-integ rated lesso ns. The last sessio ns o f this were held during the mo nth o f January 2 0 1 6 . The co urse bo th entertaining and info rmative, pro vided a valuable experience fo r the teachers.

An O pen Ho use fo r g rades I/ II was o rg anised fo r the parents o n 6 th March. Students o f class I presented pro ject culminatio n activities o f their pro ject wo rk based o n their Eng lish reader ‘ My mum is lo st’ They presented sho rt plays and spo ke abo ut their understanding o f safe strang ers in case they g et lo st in a busy place. A sessio n o n Parenting was also held abo ut g uiding children . Parents hig hly appreciated the effo rts o f teachers and students.

The event aimed at pro mo ting sense o f unity and to g etherness amo ng st students. All the perfo rmances were based o n the theme Letâ€™s Blo o m To g ether. The vibrancy with which the sto ries were co nceptualized thro ug h actio ns and expressio ns captivated the audience. They hig hly appreciated the delig htful perfo rmances. The o ccasio n was g raced by the presence o f the Academic Manag er o f Scho o l G ro up II; Ms. Tabinda Raza. It was a memo rable day fo r everyo ne.

Usual celebrato ry events and festivities fo r the day included quiz co mpetitio n, so ng perfo rmances, tableaus that to uched the string s o f patrio tism within us. Students sho wed natio nal fervo ur wearing Army unifo rms, b a dg e s a nd wa ve d the ha llma rk Pa kista ni g re e n a nd white flag with natio nal spirit. They celebrated this o ccasio n with zeal and zest.
