Prize Distribution

Beaconhouse organized a prize distribution ceremony in the school premises. It was one of the memorable event in the history of the institution. The school compound was colorful with flower pots and banners. Maps, pictures and paintings were hung on the walls. Chairs were arranged for the visitors. The stage was beautifully decorated with the arranged prizes neatly on a separate table.

Teachers Day BSS rejoiced “ Teachers Day” within the school’s threshold to pay a tribute to the greatest educational efforts. Teachers are like real potters who not only give our lives a shape but also enable to lit like a lamp forever after dispelling the darkness from all the across the world.

Global Dignity Day Beaconhouse School System celebrates ‘Global Dignity Day’ each year. Beaconites make the concept of dignity tangible and understandable for each and every student. Defining dignity in their own words and sharing stories from their own lives gives students ownership of the concept. After that, the students share their own stories, initially in small groups and ultimately in front of the whole class. At the end of the day, selected students from each class recount their dignity stories to the rest of their peers in the plenary gathering.

Kashmir Day Beaconians celebrated auspicious Kashmir Day on 19th February 2016 to support t Kashmiris efforts for emancipation cordially. Various plays, dances and speeches were performed, symbolizing the Kashmiri epical culture. The students of all the classes wore traditional Kashmiri dresses to eulogize the prodigious culture extensively. Undoubtedly, Kashmir possesses a remarkable demonstration of solidarity, affection, hospitality and noble values.

Vigorous Readers Students of Lower Primary Branch PTC, Gujranwala executed their favourite readers “Little Rex” and “It’s not fair” on 3 rd March, 2016 enthusiastically playing the roles of their favourite characters. These plays enhanced the students’ learning aptitude and the audience also applauded the performers. Thematically, it was an extremely beneficial activity to bring the beautiful readers to life.

Page 5 To endorse an understanding level with the learning activities of Beaconhouse, Open Day was systematized at Lower Primary Branch, PTC on 12th March 2016. Parents were genially invited to visit and relish numerous Parental workshops, Chef Corner, Puppet Show, Art Mania and Gymnastics.

Through this event, parents were encompassed totally with the charismatic lure of the co-curriculum activities of the year.

Result Day A PTM was organised by the BSS to hand over the students’ results children on 9 th January, 2016 at Lower Primary Branch. The parents were gratified over their Children’s exhibited in both the curricular and extra-curricular activities. They also treasured the professional presentation of report cards as well as the display of work / project.

Angels in Action The January month was celebrated as “Lets Act Month” at Upper Primary Section. The students of Class III, IV and V participated enthusiastically and gave life to different characters by dramatizing diverse Urdu and English stories with a complete involvement

Millennium Generation with Technology E- Safety Week was celebrated with prodigious zest in PTC from 22nd February to 26th February. Students were acquainted with E-Safety rules by showing them different presentations to be involved in various activities. They watched certain videos on E- Bullying and Digital Citizenship. A Poster Making Competition was carried out from Class III to V. Students showed safe ways to use internet and other technology sources. They had a Skype Session with BGKG1 students and shared their research about safer net surfing with them. These activities hunted students’ interested and made them aware of the modern World. A special morning assembly was organized by the students of class VIII with the aim of promoting e-safety to protect young people from the adverse consequences of access or use of electronic media, including bullying, inappropriate sexualized behavior

Mathematical Wizard

In Lower Primary Branch PTC, Gujranwala students of Kindergarten exhibited an unprecedented performance while using EyeRIS technology in learning sums on 18th February 2016. They enhanced their understanding sense with the usage of extensive technology demonstration.

Laureate Angel It is a gratified moment for the upper primary branch when Ayesha Habib from III Purple participated in A2Z Card Making Competition and made us all proud to win silver medal with a cheque of Rs:5000/ as a token of recognition of distinction on national level. We wish her all the best for future endeavors.

Page 7 Upper Primary, PTC organized an Urdu Mubahisa from Class III to V. The topic was “Computer aik Sahulat ya Azab”. The competition was carried out in three rounds. The first round was mandatory. After Class competition, selected students had to compete with the students of other sections. Best six from each level made their place in the Final Round which was held on 23 rd February, 2016. Final Contest was judged by Ms. Nabeela Rehman, O Level Urdu Instructor, Sheryar Naeem and Usama bin Nadeem, A Level students who achieved distinction in Urdu in Pakistan. Participants shared their views confidently and supported it with verses and real life examples. Audience and judges applauded each participant of the competition. Winners were given certificates and trophies which gave a delightful end to this healthy competition.

Investiture Ceremony Beaconhouse, from the day of its inception, has fortified investing power and delegating responsibility call for a responsible behavior. It signifies an emblem of a truly global citizen, guaranteed citizenship of responsibility .The souring in ceremony of the newly elected student council was a solemn affair , where youth of today took oath of allegiance to the directives of morality and sportsmanship in life.

The Beconites surely garenr an edge of career counselling. This year an array of local and international universities gathered in the sports arena of “A levels PTC ,Gujranwala”. The inquisitive students sorted their future prospective in different Universities around the world, their prerequisites and possible directives entailed with international education. The parents and students were greatly contented with University representatives listened to the quarries and answered them satisfactorily.
