The Intra-regional Table Tennis Tournament was hosted by Allama Iqbal Town Campus on September 29. 16 teams from all over the region participated in this tournament. BLL team, Bisma Alam XC-D, Tajwar Tanveer XIC-E and Farah Munawar VIIT B, played enthusiastically and secured 2nd position. The team received silver medals and lifted the runners up trophy.

Badminton Tournament 201&
The Intra-regional Badminton Tournament held at Wapda Complex was hosted by Johar Town Campus on October 5. A total of 16 teams from all over the region participated in this tournament. Our team played with great enthusiasm and bagged the 2nd position. During the prize distribution ceremony, the team member Mahnoor Shah XI C- F, Gulnoor Shah X C-D and Fariha Shahid X C-E were a roed silver medals and the runners up trophy.
Paraknight-Match 4.0 This sports event was held at LGS Paragon from October14 to 16. BLL students participated in arious sports events including Throwball, Dodge the Ball and Swimming. Our Dodge the Ball team won the final match after defeating LGS 1A 1. They bagged gold medals and lifted the team trophy.
LGS - Defence Games 201&

These games were organized by LGS Defence Campus from October 21 to 23. BLL team participated in the Badminton and Table Tennis Tournaments and won laurels. Mahnoor Shah XIC-F and Fariha Shahid XC-E won gold medals in the Badminton Doubles while BismaAlam XC-D won a silver medal in the Table Tennis Tournament. Mahnoor Shah also played extremely well in the Badminton Singles and won a silver medal.

Punjah Olympics
The Punjab Olympics were held at Lahore College University from November 3 to 5. BLL team participated in the Interschool Netball Tournament and won a bronze medal after defeating Adabistan-e-Soophia.
Intra-re iunal Athletic Meet

The Intra-regional Athletic Meet was held at Bedian Sports Complex on November 15. The participants brought glory to BLL by bringing home 9 medals. Mishal Shaud XIC-A, Haiqa Ansari XIC-D,Amna Riaz IXC-E, andAimen Naveed IXM-A won a silver medal in 4xlOOm relay. Dua Babar IXC-A won a gold and a silver medal in U-14 and U-17 Javelin Throw respectively. In U-17 competitions Mishal Shaud won a silver medal in 100m and Amna Riaz bagged a siIver medal in High Jump and a bronze in 400m.

The Sports Festival was held from November 18 to 20. 15 students from BLL participated in this sports event and secured 2nd position in the Tug of War.
It was a proud moment for B LL when Mishal Shaud, Aimen Waqar, Amna Riaz and Dua Babar were selected to represent the Central Region team in the Inter-regional Sports Carnival held in Islamabad from November 30 to December 1. Mishal Shaud XIC-A won bronze medals in 100m and 4x 100m whereas Dua Babar IXC-A won a gold medal in Javelin Throw and Amna Riaz IXC-E bagged a bronze in High Jump. Aimen Waqar XIC-A received a gold medal by winning the basketball tournament, Overall the Central Region Team was declared the winner ofthe Inter-regional Sports Carnival.
Inter-house Netball Matches were organized on November 9 and 10. The teams comprising students from XIC participated enthusiastically to win the match and make their supporters proud. In the semi-finals Trojans beat Gladiators while Vikings defeated Titans and reached the final. On November 10, Trojans and Vikings battled for the 1st position. Effective team work and coordination brought Vikings to the victory stand.
IXM and XM participated in the Inter-class Netball Matches held from November 23 to December 6. In the final matches XM-B and IXM-C played exceptionally well and emerged victorious after defeating XM-Aand IXM-D respectively.

Beaconhouse Margalla Islamabad Diplomats Conference held from July 25 to 27 was attended by BLL delegation with great enthusiasm. Out of seven delegates, 4 won awards in two significant categories. Eiman Shoaib XIC-E won an 'Outstanding Diplomacy' whereas' Honourable Mention' was received by ImamaZahoor, RameenAhmadandAimenWaqarofXIC-A.

The International Affairs Conference Pakistan' 16 was held at City School, Gulberg Campus from August 4 to 7. The conference gave an opportunity to our students to hold a dialogue on complex issues such as international peace and security. Imama Zahoor and RameenAhmad ofXIC-A won 'Honourable Mention' .

Urdu Mushaira
Eman Azam XIC-B and Tazeen Zahra XC-C participated in an Urdu Mushaira held at LGS Paragon on September 28. The team gave an outstanding performance and won the competition. Eman Azam bagged the 1st prize in the serious category while Tazeen Zahra secured the 1st prize in the humourous category and lifted the team trophy.

This contest was organised by Bloomfield Hall Johar Town on October 4. Out of the 46 participating teams, RameenAhmad XIC-A won the 3rd position in the English category and received a certificate of merit and a shield.

AcFest 2016 was organized by Aitchison College Lahore from November 9 to 11. A delegation of 45 students participated in various events ranging from still life, thematic art, photography to dramaticsand fashion illustration. Once again our dramatics team performed remarkably well and bagged the 1st prize in the 'Dramatics' category and received the team trophy. This year they portrayed the current Kashmir issue and were lauded for the originality ofthe script and emotional dialogue delivery.

It was a community service event which was organized by Beaconhouse Garden Town on November 18 and 19. A delegation of 21 students participated in various activities including Mock Parliamentary Session. The participants also volunteered to spend time with the children from Jeevan Hana and Edhi Centre and organized various fun-filled activities for them. BLL was declared the runner up for the 'Best Delegation' and Nabiha Khan XM-C received the 'Best Head Delegate' award.

This three day mega event was arranged by Beaconhouse Bahria Town Campus from November 24 to 26.BLL delegation participated in various quizzes and won laurels. The results are; • Iqra N oor, IqraAamir and Um-e- Kulsoom of X C- D won the 1st posi tion in the Science Quiz. • Saman Jalil, Unsiyat Zahra and Aiman Anwaar of XM-B bagged the 1st position in the Artisan Competition . • Avizay Atif XC-E, Haiqa Sarosh XC-C and Fatima Ubaid IXC-E got the 2nd position in the Math • Quiz. Ayesha Javed IXC-A, Rumaisa Hassan IXC-C and Syeda Hafsa Azeem IXC-B secured the 2nd position in the General Knowledge Quiz.

An Eid Milan Party organized on September 23 was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. Necessary arrangements were made to ensure the event's success. The students decorated their classrooms which displayed a festive ambiance. After the first half of the routine time table, they were allowed to gather in the play area where they spent quality time with their friends.

The entire school participated enthusiastically in the elections held to choose the Student Council for the Academic Year 2016-2017. The short listed candidates from 0 and A levels campaigned fervently for their respective posts. On September 22, the entire student body cast votes to elect their favourite candidates. The election results announced on Friday September 23 were received with a roaring applause by the students. The Oath Taking Ceremony was held in the school auditorium on September 30. The outgoing Council members were given certificates of merit for fulfilling their duties to the best of their abilities. The newly elected Student Council for the year 2016-2017 took an oath in which they promised to work with utmost devotion and dedication. During the ceremony, the new council received sashes whereas the class prefects were given badges.

Financial Literacy Programme-2Dl&
It was a three day activity organized for the students of XC and XIC from October 3 to 5. The main aim of this programme was to improve their understanding ofthe financial markets. Below are the activities designed for the financial literacy programme: Sir Iftikhar, our Business group faculty member, conducted a workshop on what financial markets are and how they operate, to equip students with sufficient knowledge before their visit to the stock exchange. During their visit to the Lahore Stock Exchange, the students learnt how shares are bought, transferred and sold. They also observed a practical demonstration on how to analyze data regarding share price in the market. The students were also taken to the CDC department where a workshop was held regarding investment accounts, role of brokers in a stock market and selection of brokers to keep investment safe. Overall, the activity was a great learning experience for the students.

Teachers' Day was celebrated on October 5 with great fervour and excitement. The students expressed their love and devotion for their teachers by organizing an amazing programme in the school auditorium. The teachers were called upon the stage where the Principal, Mrs Hurnaira Mahmood and the Headmistress, Ms Rehana Rasul presented them with flowers and cards that were designed by the students. What made the event more exciting was the segment when the teachers showed their skills other than teaching. They parodied celebrities and their colleagues for the students to guess who they were 1 ersonating. All in all, it was a memorable day for the teachers and the students.

Global Dignity Day was celebrated on October 17. A special programme was organized by the middle school in which the students delivered speeches and sang songs to reiterate the importance of giving respect and equality to others. The Principal, Mrs. Humaira Mahmood, also distributed gift boxes among the junior staff to appreciate them for their hard work and commitment. Later balloons were released in the air with a banner saying, "We at BLL believe in dignity for all."
~~ Inler-House Girl Child Day Phalography Campelition BLL Media Society organized the first Inter-house Girl Child Day Photography Competition on October 21. The four house teams comprising four to five students participated enthusiastically and submitted photographs which exhibited their photography skills. The Chief Guest, Mr. Arsalan Manzoor photographer for the famous brand 'Manga', also served as the judge for the competition. According to the final results Vikings won the competition and Titans, Trojans and Gladiators stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. The best photography prize was won by SaraAli XI C-c.

A Science Exhibition was organized by the Matric Section on October 26. Students from IX and X Matric participated enthusiastically and displayed their creativity and knowledge through innovative projects. The teams which were declared winners are as follows: Sara Nazim, Eesha Malik and KashafImtiaz XMA won the 1st prize. Fatima Amir, SadafMasud, Ansa Azhar and Maha Muzaffar XMB got the 2nd prize while Khadija Adnan, Mohiba Abbas and Aisha Khalid XMA secured the 3rd prize.

The Award Ceremony for the 0 level and Matric Class of 2016 was held on October 28 in the school auditorium. Ms. Shahina Asif, a renowned gynaecologist was the Chief Guest. During the ceremony, the successful students were given gold, silver and bronze medals and letters of appreciation were resented to the teachers.

Trip ta Oasis On September 27 a trip to Oasis was arranged for the outgoing XIC and XM. It was a thrilling and entertaining day at the water slides for the excited students. They enjoyed the company oftheir friends and teachers outside the school and collected a treasure of memories.
Bake aff 201& The Social Welfare Society organized an inter-house bake sale on November 2 to collect money for Shaukat Khanum's 'Donate a meal' Programme. The entire school participated enthusiastically to make the event a success. House teams from middle, senior and Alevel sections baked a variety of items and set up their stalls in the play area. To add a little fun to the event, the houses contested to raise the highest amount. According to the final results, Titans stood first by raising 60,500 rupees. Altogether the students raisedl ,90,000 rupees.

'A World of Tomorrow' was a three day event organized by Beaconhouse School System from November 3 to 5. BLL also played its part in making the event successful by organizing 'Heritage Awareness Programme' and 'Bitsy Brainy Food' on November 4 and 5 respectively. During the 'Heritage Awareness Programme' Ms. Marvi Mazhar gave a presentation in the auditorium where she talked about the importance of preserving our culture and our invaluable monuments. After the presentation, a Mural-Making Competition was organized in which teams from various schools participated and made murals ofthe historical monuments. The event 'Bitsy Brainy Food' was divided into two sessions. In the first session Zubaida Apa shared her famous recipes with the audience and also answered their queries. In the second session Chef Diego and Chef Samuel from SCAF A prepared a few dishes and talked about the nutritious value of healthy food in our everyday diet. Our team at Royal Palm organized projects on Science and Technology. The students participated enthusiastically and displayed immense knowledge through virtual softwares.

Marketing Praject 201&
The Senior School Business Society organized the annual marketing project on November 8. Students of XC- F were divided into groups and were assigned different products. They set up stalls which reflected thei marketing skills. The group which was declared 1st comprised four members- Ridah Naushad, AI' a Fatima, Mariam Amir and Amra Rohail. The product which they marketed was 'Shaan Food'.
-• A special programme was organized in the school auditorium by the 0 Level Urdu Department on November 10 to celebrate the birth of the legend-Allama Muhammad Iqbal. After recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, Mehreen Mir XIC-D delivered a speech commemorating Iqbal's contribution to Urdu literature and the Pakistan Movement. Later IXC-E, F and IXM performed plays depicting various facets of the present society. Iqbal's dialogue between 'Jibrael and Iblees' enacted by the students ofIXC-E received loud applause from the audience. Eman Azam XI C-Band Rida Nawaz XI C-D also recited Iqbal's poems in their melodious voices. The HM Ms Rehana Rasul gave a closing speech in which she appreciated the teachers and the students for their effort in making the programme a success.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the carnival held on November 25. They wore their favourite costumes and joined their friends in fun activities including the current world famous trend-the Mannequin Challenge. A variety of food stalls were also set up to tantalize their taste buds. Overall, it was a day full of fun and frolic.
Annual Prize Distribution

The Annual Prize Distribution ceremony for the Academic Session 2015-2016 was held on December 2. After the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, the welcome address was delivered by the Head Girl Noor Fatima. In her speech, the Principal Mrs. Humaira Mahmood highlighted the academic as well as cocurricular achievements of the students. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Fariha Ahmad, Deputy Director for Curriculum (BSS), distributed certificates and trophies among the successful students. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem and laterrefreshments were served.
