Competitions Won!!! On October 27, 2011 we hosted matches of Dodge the ball and Tug of War of classes I and II respectively with BSS 41- A- 1 Peco road. This was the second round, to compete with another winning branch. Our young athletes played really well under the guidance of the games teacher Mrs Samina Nadeem.The spectators applauded with great enthusiasm when the home teams won both the titles. Well done 17-G!
Colour Galore: The first thing children get familiar with and attracted to is colours, even before they can make out things. Colours are life and children's favourite sport too. To teach various colours nursery's celebrated a colour day. The four sections represented one colour each i.e. red, yellow, green and pink. All the children were dressed in their relevant colours. The teachers organized various activities like thumb printing , collage, spray painting and painting on egg shells with the respective colours and incorporated objects and things that match them. It was indeed a colourful sight to watch them.

Master Chefs: Who would imagine living without eating and that too delicious treats. Our young chefs of pre nurseries learnt making children’s all time favourite cereal, jam toast choco milk and best of all ginger bread cookies. This was a part of their lesson regarding 'food'. No doubt it was a wonderful sight watching them cook and then treat themselves to it.
Inter-Section Art Competition: Like sport and music BSS has always in corporated physical activities as a tool to learning. Everyone is inspired by colours .Art is a very vast form which has many fields in it. Our students are thus taught many art techniques at an early age. To witness that an Inter -Section Art competition was held at 17 -G MTL on 29th of November, 2011.We were honoured by Mrs Firdaus Almakky Principal of the Model Town Chapter to be the chief guest. Our art teacher Mrs Asma Mifta monitored the whole event when class one's were making a collage and two's were given a topic to do imaginative drawing. The young artists were seen fully involved finishing their tasks in the given time. The winners were announced and awarded with gifts by Mrs Almakky.

Annual Sports Day: Physical exercise is an integral part for the growth of young children .Like they say all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so is our belief. BSS has always incorporated such activities that not only build strength but sportsman spirit in children too. This was witnessed as the Annual Sports Day of class II's on 15th December, 2011. All the students were made to participate in some or the other activity, be it races, gymnastics or a colourful PT display. All the participants were awarded with certificates and the winners with trophies. The proud parents very enthusiastically witnessed the performance of their children. The tireless efforts of the students and teachers paid well in the end.
Its Party Time!!! We further extended the happiness of Eid by celebrating Eid Milan party at 17 G .All the students and teachers came dressed in their eid attires, thus spreading colours everywhere. The day ended after doing fun filled activities like stop and move, musical chairs, pass the parcel, singing competitions and Chinese whispers. This reminded everyone of their childhood too.

Evacuation drills:
To ensure safety and security of our students, evacuation drills were held during the month of December. At the sound of the hooter, all students and teachers evacuated the building in a smooth and an organized manner which demonstrated the vigilant training of the students and staff.

Make sure your child is dressed properly for school .he/she is covered well to refrain from the cold. Ensure that his/her nails are properly trimmed. Your child’s hair should be properly done, girls with tied hair and boys with a proper hair cut. Kindly ensure that your child is regular and punctual in coming to school. Your child’s security is our primary concern, so please be vigilant in bringing his/her I.D card at home time An important factor in your child’s education………reading good books.
