Discover the Cook in You! On Friday, 16th March 2012, students of Classes I to V sampled with recipes at Discovery Centre. The activity was a part of British Council International Collaborative Project “Discover the cook in you”.

The project requires the learners to discuss and prepare dishes from the recipe book Kids in the Kitchen (http://kidsinthekitchen.ajli.org) and

make illustrations of how they prepared these dishes which are shared with students from other countries online.

Participation in this project offers schools the opportunity to integrate the main concepts of the Global Dimension into their classrooms through: 

Giving students the opportunity to appreciate the importance of a

global context and engage in a range of culturally diverse experiences 

Giving students the opportunity to appreciate the similarities

between peoples everywhere, and value diversity
