NOTICE FOR ANNUAL MEETING VOTE FOR DIRECTORS VOTE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 BUDGET There are two (2) open seats for the CCFD Board of Directors, and all budgets that propose greater than a 4% increase require an all-day referendum for approval, per the District By-Laws. Voting for the two (2) open seats as well as the District Budget for Fisal Year 2021-2022 will begin Monday September 13th at 8:30 AM and continue until 7:30 PM or the close of the Annual Meeting, whichever occurs first. YOUR. VOTE.COUNTS! On September 13, 2021, the Central Coventry Fire District will hold an all-day referendum to approve the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget. Voters will also be selecting two (2) candidates for the open seats on the Board of Directors. Voting will begin at 8:30 AM at the Coventry High School, 40 Reservoir Road, Coventry, RI 02816. Voting will continue until 7:30 PM or the close of the Annual Meeting, whichever occurs first. The Annual Meeting will be called to order at 7:00 PM at the Coventry High School.
The Fiscal Year 2022 budget is: $5,520,480. The Tax Levy Increase is approximately: 8.5%. Since this is above 4%, the By-Laws require an all-day referendum for approval.
