If I can succeed at

Beacon Academy I can succeed anywhere.

Are you Beacon? We seek the determined kids growing up in disadvantaged areas. The talented freethinkers studying in tough neighborhoods. We’re searching for the promise in overlooked places. Spirit in situations of struggle. The unmatched achievers who hunger for education. For opportunity. For success. We discover those who refuse to give up when life has been everything but easy. Who are driven to build a life without limits and ache for a supportive academic community. Who fiercely believe in themselves and their bright futures. They’re go-getters committed to take action. Emboldened to overcome injustice. Empowered to be more. Are you a bright young mind capable of achieving all to which you aspire? Are you ready to be a leader, changing the trajectory of your life?

Why Beacon? The education system in Boston divides the wealthiest from the poorest. It isn’t fair. We level the playing field by selecting, preparing, and sticking with a talented group of kids who can thrive at some of the elite high schools in the country – if better prepared. We are not politically correct, we care deeply about our kids and their families, and we do everything in our power to ensure that they thrive in independent schools. Our graduates have earned more than $55 million in scholarships for high school and college so far.

It works.

More to Know The Class of 2018 just earned $3.9 million in scholarships for high school. They will matriculate at the following schools in September: Buckingham Browne & Nichols School Belmont Hill School Berwick Academy (2) Brimmer & May School Concord Academy Dublin School Groton School (2)

Miss Hall’s School Northfield Mount Hermon Noble and Greenough School Putney School St. Paul’s School Waldorf High School of Mass. Bay Walnut Hill School for the Arts Winsor School

Most people have no idea about independent schools. They also believe investing an extra year is being “held back.” Don’t think of it that way. Go to high school a year older, a year smarter, a year taller, stronger, bigger, better. Get more out of it. Give more. Do it for your education.
