Browning High School: A Hospitality Training Ground stablished in 2019, Browning Early College High School in the Long Beach Unified School District was designed to meet the needs of a Long Beach community which is home to a $10 billion hospitality industry. Nestled at the foot of Signal Hill, the modern campus was built with a hospitality and

culinary flare in mind. Students at the school have the privilege to learn under the tutelage of professional chefs who expertly outfitted the campus with a state of the art industrial kitchen that has transformed Browning into one of the preeminent culinary institutions in the state of California.

In addition to its culinary opportunities, Browning also offers its students the ability to earn an Associate Degree in Hospitality Management from Long Beach City College. Professors from LBCC travel to the Browning campus to provide college level instruction to the dual enrollment students who can earn up to 60 college

credits upon High School graduation. The unique nature of the program allows all students to take college courses without entrance exams or GPA requirements. In the Spring of 2024, Browning celebrated its first class of graduates who earned their High School diplomas simultaneously with their Associate Degree.

EAST VILLAGE East Village, also called the East Village Arts District, is located on the southeast end of Downtown Long Beach.
